This weekend, September 25th through the 27th, Pensacola, Florida will be THE place to be in America. (Unless you hate seafood.) That’s because it’s time for the much-loved Pensacola Seafood Festival 2009.
Replace fair favorite "sausage on a stick" with "shark on a stick," and instead of cotton candy, try some mahi mahi or crab cakes! Kettle corn and funnel cakes should make an appearance, however, for those who think fish taste, well, a little too fishy.
Before you surrender to a food coma, hang around the fest for live music, kid-friendly fun, and the Splash Dogs Competition – where canines race to the finish line, in this case off a dock and into a 25-foot pool. Fun!
