It’s not every day you get to see the Berlin Wall… in Vegas. Well, a part of it that is. Main Street Station is home to many of history’s most impressive relics, including a chandelier from the Figaro Opera House. Don’t miss out on happy hour at the Triple 7 Brewery.

Downtown Las Vegas Shows

While the various downtown Las Vegas hotels offer up various headliners, the real show’s on Fremont Street.

The Fremont Street Experience is one of those things you just have to experience. Suppose that’s not a surprise, considering its name. Half of the Fremont Street Experience is merely meandering around the area, dipping in and out of hotels, waving hi to Vegas Vic (the huge neon cowboy who welcomes visitors with a “howdy”), etc. The other half is the mesmerizing nightly light and music show, made possible because of the canopy that stretches from Fourth to Main Street. If you’re headed to Vegas for New Year’s Eve, this is an especially great (though slightly more expensive) time to experience Fremont Street.
