Beyond the traditional music clubs, excellent restaurants, and bustling nightlife, this city ups the ante with yearly events. 1. Austin City Limits Music Festival (ACL)
ACL is usually right at number 1 for a list of top 10 Austin events. This music festival takes place in September over three days and eight stages. Each year around 130 bands, plus other entertainment, thrill huge audiences of locals and visitors alike. This might just be the ultimate excuse to come to Austin!
2. South by Southwest Music and Film Festival (SXSW)
Another heavy hitter on the list of top 10 Austin events is SXSW. This festival has grown in recent years to be one of the biggest arts festivals in the country, and music and film fans flock from across the country every March to see what’s new and exciting.
