Old Town Scottsdale is really more new than old; while it's home to many historic buildings, this downtown hotspot has become the place to hang out. Dine along the Arizona Canal at a Scottsdale Waterfront restaurant, buy a Native American piece of jewelry at an eclectic shop, or explore hundreds of Old Town art galleries at the Scottsdale Art Walk, a free event held every Thursday. From the boutiques on Fifth Avenue to the artsy corridor Marshall Way, Old Town Scottsdale has restaurants, shops, galleries, and museums to keep you entertained for a full day (if not longer). But don't head home when the sun sets; Old Town has plenty of nightlife, especially at Scottsdale Fashion Square. Read more about Old Town Scottsdale in our Scottsdale, Arizona travel guide.
