The discerning guest will find a spacious, 1800 sq ft beachfront penthouse condo with a completely unobstructed Gulf view. Hear the sounds of the surf ... smell the salt air ... feel the breeze. Come and enjoy your home away from home.

Swim or wade in the warm Gulf waters ... build a sandcastle ... or just relax on the white sand beach or on the large condo balcony. Our boardwalk takes you over the dunes to the beach.

Shared Community Pool also available.

The Gulf-side balcony overlooks the beach with a sweeping view of the Gulf. This view reaches the ship channel at the east end of Port Aransas which carries traffic into and from Aransas Pass and Corpus Christi Bay. This balcony stretches the length of the condo with ample furniture to sit, relax and enjoy the view.

This spacious second-floor penthouse was remodeled as a primary residence. The master bedroom, dining room all have large sliding glass doors opening onto the balcony with incredible views of the Gulf of Mexico.

A well-appointed kitchen Including a ceramic cook surface, Corian sinks and countertops and lots of space to enjoy preparing meals or snacks. The living room has a large flat screen HDTV, a DVD player and comfortable seating for relaxing &viewing. All bedrooms have a TV. Of course, free wireless internet is available if you must check in with the 'real world' while on the Island.

Wonderful!

Beautiful condo in an amazing location! The sports courts (basketball, tennis, and pickleball) seemed brand new! Security was checking everyone entering the property which felt very safe. Everything was perfect for our family, and we would absolutely stay here again!

Spring break

Wonderful TX Getaway

Great older condo with a fantastic front porch balcony and wonderful views of the Gulf. Nice big kitchen that is well stocked with everything needed for island cooking. Great location for ship watching and close to beach and town. We truly enjoyed our stay here. The condo is very roomy and was great for our group. Our guests were impressed with the views from the porch.

Spacious and luxurious

We loved the porch view and beach access. The kitchen had everything our family needed to cook together (quality cookware, dishware, counterspace, appliances). The second puzzle/game table was enjoyed, as were the comfortable bedrooms.

We are a retired couple who live in Austin, TX. We love going to Port Aransas with our children and grandchildren every chance we get. Our house provides enough space for our family to unwind without tripping over each other! We love the large porch with ocean views where we drink coffee in the morning, a good glass of wine in the evening and enjoy family and friends. We are so pleased to share our piece of paradise with you and know you will enjoy it as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

We looked all over the island to find a condo that fit our needs. The view, private balcony and immaculate grounds primarily attracted us to this unit/complex. While looking at other complex surroundings, it was clear the cleanliness and proximity to the beach are by far superior at Island Retreat, in comparison to other complexes on the Island. I also like the close proximity to town while still having the feel of complete privacy and quiet in the unit. Once we saw this, it was an easy and immediate decision to purchase!
