Enter into luxury living to Kahala Estate Cottage, which allows guests the choice of elegant interior living with air conditioning; or exterior living on the extensive deck with the pool, spa, tennis court and large lawn area (pest free year round). Walk further down a private path, past one house, to Kahala Beach for swimming or snorkeling or walk further down the beach to the 5 star Kahala Hotel for snacks or full dining options or its own awesome beach. (All beaches in Hawaii are public).
The large lawn is very pleasant and tennis court provides recreation for the family.
The 'cottage' is a self contained luxury home away from home of approximately 1,850 square feet interior space with 2 car garage, 2.5 baths, 2 bedrooms and study and den area with queen size futon couch for additional space.
The full kitchen has numerous seating areas, separate elegant dining room, and living room opens out to the pool and spa.
The property shows pride of ownership as owner's home share the property but are rarely home. Property built by owner and completed in early 2000.
Kahala is the premier location in Honolulu and thus heaven on earth. My husband and I are lucky enough to have lived in this area for over 30 years as we would not choose any other place. This property is truly a dream come true and would be a dream home for our guests as well. We luckily spotted this property, raw land, over 15 years ago and designed our own estate and built what exists today.

The house is located one house from the beach, down a private lane. Guests have commented that the location and grounds are way more spectacular than the pictures show. Kahala Hotel is one block away; Kahala Mall, a major regional mall is 3 blocks from the house with the H-1 Freeway and access to the rest of Honolulu next to Kahala Mall. Waikiki is a quick 3 miles away, going along the water. You may also stop at the Kapiolani Comm College Farmers Market on Saturday mornings.

“This area is the sunniest on the island, due to the southern most residential area on the island. The night stars are often spectacular because of the wide expansive view of the sky, as other homes are farther away than most. On a clear moonlit night the moon rises over the ocean on the east side (left as you walk toward the beach from the house) lighting up the water for many miles.”
