Nestled in the heart of Oceanside California, our home is just one mile from the Ocean, in a friendly walking neighborhood with wild parrots! This beautiful space is designed for indoor/outdoor living for up to 8 people with plenty of room to spread out. There are two living rooms, a dining room, 3 bedrooms with w/queen beds, 2.5 baths, a wood-burning fireplace, a wet bar, an oversized patio with a fire pit, game table, and casita with TV and foosball table! Whether your friends celebrating or your family coming together this place is perfect for you!

Comfortable for 6, with space to separate if you need to.

The house was wonderfully clean and decorated well. With a living room, a separate family room, and outside dining and seating areas, 6 adults could sit together or spread out and have alone time or sit with a few people. I was initially concerned about the lack of AC, but the whole house fan and ceiling fans in every bedroom was plenty. We were in town for a wedding so the location was great for us...centrally located to the venue and relatives with easy access to the 5. We were there during hurricane Hillary, so I can't review the beach. Bart and Brenda were a joy to work with. Incredibly responsive, and we worked through a VRBO technical snafu without drama. I don't give 5-star reviews easily, but I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

Very good

The property was just as described. It was very comfortable and well located. It worked really well with our pup who enjoyed the backyard. The layout worked well for our family.

A great place to get away... felt like we was at home and such a safe neighborhood!

Great place to stay... close to EVERYTHING! We stayed during Christmas and the owners went out of their way to decorate it for us to make it feel like the holidays. It was close to shopping, restaurants and beaches. They allowed pets and the backyard was perfect for our dogs. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to visiting Oceanside!

Hello Fellow Travelers!
We are Bart and Brenda. I'm a Canadian girl who followed her career in sunny California. Bart and I met and fell in love in Oceanside. Bart is a retired marine infantry officer who accepted an opportunity to work at the Best Friends Animal Society. So we packed up and moved from sunny California in 2018 all the way to Kanab Utah. We both love the ocean and have found that Kanab also has a peaceful beauty that calms the soul.

We now have two wonderful Airbnb properties, one in Kanab Utah (Vermilion Oasis) and one in Oceanside California (Ocean Oasis). Our Airbnb in Kanab is a casita located on the property where we live. We have 4 dogs and a lovely flock of chickens; if you like eggs let us know; we have plenty! Our other Airbnb is our 1st home before we moved to Kanab. We loved it so much that we didn't want to give it up. The house is 6 blocks from the beach in a friendly, walking neighborhood. Both properties have very different experiences to offer.

South Oceanside is a friendly beach community with several coffee shops, restaurants, and retail shops within walking distance. Our home is centrally located between Oceanside Pier and Carlsbad Beach. If you are hoping to travel beyond our neighborhood during your stay there the 5 Fwy is around the corner and there are two train stations 10 minutes away. Some of our favorite restaurants and coffee shops are Revolution Roasters, Vigilante, The Privateer, LTH, and Pour House...just to name a few! If you are looking for places to go with the entire family, check out the beach, Lego Land, the San Diego Zoo, or Balboa Park!

Our home is located in a wonderful area with lots of shopping, restaurants, beaches, and other activities. Whether you want to spend a day at the beach or hit up Lego Land/San Diego Zoo land it's all very accessible.
