Super Fun Getaway

Super fun time. One of the best parts was the local park. My kids played football and we had a fire at the pack.

Great Gatlinburg Getaway for my Group

  • 5 of 5
A total of two families (4 adults and 3 kids ages 6-10) thoroughly enjoyed this cabin for our spring break (March 28 to April 3). Pulling up to the cabin we were very impressed with the grand presentation that was to be our cabin. The cabin has a deep wrap around porch and wide stairs. We spent many nights sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch. All beds were extremely comfortable and main floor furniture, as well. The top floor bedroom has a great walk out deck where I spent much time with my coffee in the mornings admiring the unblemished view of the mountains. And I mean unblemished. This cabin has the best location in the area. Straightforward facing the mountains! Huge full bathroom upstairs as well. The main floor has two large bedrooms and a full bath between them. And the cabin doors were solid - once shut no television noise or card playing bothered anyone trying to sleep. The basement is large as well, with a full bath but we didn't need the room. We made use of the garage once so we wouldn't have to load up in the rain to go to town in the morning. And speaking of town, it is right around the corner. Grocery, liquor and restaurants all close. We had a final dinner at The Alamo and it didn't let us down. Get the grocery card and it immediately knocks off a tremendous amount of your purchase - "Food City." This was an ideal cabin in an ideal location with an ideal view of what you came to see - the mountains! Great communication with the owners and the property manager on site. This is a great rent. We will return to this exact location when next we visit Gatlinburg.

New Years 2015

  • 5 of 5
My family and I stayed up here from Dec26-Jan2 of 2014-2015. It was the first time all of us stayed together. There was plenty of room to be spread out and the kitchen/eating area comfortably sat all ten of us. We were always connected with the Internet and there was always plenty to watch on tv. If I had known there were some DVDs there, I would have brought some from home to add to their collection. We always watched a movie every night. The kids enjoyed staying in the basement area with the hockey table and the adults enjoyed the pool table room. The local supermarket "Food City" has everything you need to stock the fridge. Make sure to ask the cashier to give you a rewards card to save u money. We saved close to $75 total on $300 worth of food. Downtown Gatlinburg was minutes away. We went there everyday. Quick note on the parking: if you park right on the Main Street parking areas, you will pay a lot more. Try one of the streets behind Main Street. Many have $5 parking instead of $10. Will stay here again!! The only complaint from my wife was that there was no full length mirror. I told her she didn't need one...she told me I am her husband and I had to say that. - BM

From the Owner

When we visit, we love to sit on the deck and take in fresh air while admiring Mt. Leconte. Hiking is our favorite activity. Have you climbed up Mt. Leconte? You must do it. Our kids LOVE to ride the hummers around the mountains!!! Try it.
