About the Owner

I have raised two young boys to men in this house and have perfected the place through years of improvements. The downstairs has recently undergone major modern renovations while staying true to it's original design as a Victorian, while the upstairs has been kept in it's original architecture so as to preserve the integrity of the Victorian. My eldest son recently helped put the finishing touches on some of the painting, and I personally chose all the furniture and art within the homes. I reside in San Francisco and still stay at the home occasionally, or provide my family with a unit when visiting. I often introduce myself to occupants and enjoy personally leaving a bowl of fresh organic fruit and some coffee beans for visitors.

Great stay, great location, great host.

  • 5 of 5
Me and my girlfriend stayed here as part of our tour across the USA. The host was great, mostly left us to ourselves other than offering some advice and telling us a game was on!

Really beautiful place; looks MUCH bigger than the photos. We ended up not even using the front half of it besides the door and washing machine! The back-living area of the kitchen, dining room and bedroom was just so huge.

It's in a great location - Safeway and nearby local markets aplenty, and the transit runs just a couple roads away, as well as countless buses.

Fantastic stay, would stay again!

Wonderful rental

  • 5 of 5
Recently, my wife and I stayed for a week at this wonderful Noe Valley home. We've rented very successfully in several locations from VRBO but this was the best. The unit is very comfortable with 14' ceiling that make it feel much larger. It had all the amenities that you might desire as well as some that were real perks. The best was that Robin left us a generous selection of breakfast food for our first morning! That was really appreciated. As well, we found two sets of his-and-hers thick bathrobes at our disposal. The unit is great, mixing Victorian charm with many modern features and conveniences. The location is near Mission Street, an eclectic mix of working class and middle class with some neat stores and shopping nearby. Robin treated us wonderfully and we would highly recommend this Noe Valley charmer.

Spring Break in San Francisco

  • 5 of 5
We just returned from a wonderful stay at this flat in San Francisco. Noe Valley is a quiet city neighborhood with excellent access to public transportation. The owner has fully equipped the unit with all the amenities needed including a washer/dryer, hair dryer, coffee machine, comfy robes, and even an umbrella for the rainy days. The best part of all was that she stocked the fridge with morning essentials so that we had a wonderful breakfast after arriving late in the night. This neighborhood has restaurants and shops within easy walking distance and it is a short ride on the J/Church St. train to other vibrant neighborhoods. We will stay here again on our next trip.

Quiet, spacious and clean!

  • 4 of 5
My husband and I stayed for 7 peaceful nights!
Everything was very clean and we were surprised at how much space we had to enjoy.

All advertised amenities were present and comforts like bathrobes, extra towels and blankets were a nice touch.

The patio in back is very nice as well...large, clean and private!

If you have a car, parking is a slight issue, but if you follow the street cleaning signs you should have no problems.

Would rent again! Highly recommended!

Perfect stay

  • 5 of 5
I rented the flat for 9 perfect days. The flat is surrounded by the quintessential San Francisco neighborhood, Noe Valley, and yet a short walk to the Mission district.
The location couldn't be more convenient, a block from 30th and Church with its restaurants, gourmet markets and coffee shops. Public transportation was a breeze, with J-Train and bus stops just a block's walk. Easy access to the 280 was a plus, the days I needed to head to Silicon Valley.
Beautiful backyard, comfortable bed and furnishings, and the kitchen was set up for all of my needs. I also loved the high ceilings and hardwood floors.
Robin was a joy to work with, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay at her flat again. My highest recommendation!!

Noe Valley during the World Series!

  • 5 of 5
This apartment is great. My wife and I spent 11 days here in Oct. 2012. Light and airy; very comfortable and roomy; well maintained. Nice patio for warm weather days. Great owner; all info needed was discussed beforehand or listed in the handbook. The VRBO listing was accurate and the unit in person more charming than the photos. Quiet, even when the Giants were winning the World Series! Good location. Noe Valley (Church & 24th Sts.), Bernal Heights, and Glen Park neighborhoods all within walking distance and have stores, coffee shops, and restaurants. Small produce market a block of way is well stocked with much more than produce. Whole Foods and Safeway nearby for complete grocery needs. Bus, streetcar, and BART all within walking distance. Takes about 30 minutes to get to downtown SF by transit. We had a car and were able to find street parking within 1/2 block except for 2 times, when we had to walk 2 - 3 short blocks. But pay close attention to the street sweeping schedule --- each block seems to be cleaned on a different day of the week.

Overall we had a great time and highly recommend staying here!
