Plan for 2024 in the Great Smoky Mtns! Enjoy from a peaceful cabin on Bluff Mtn

2023 was amazing! Thanks to all of our wonderful guests - repeat and new. 2024 dates are filling up. Reserve yours soon!

All seasons are a great time to visit, from Winterfest (December - February), spring, summer and fall! There is always something happening in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville. Whether you want to enjoy the great outdoors, shop till you drop, catch a few shows or enjoy the many restaurants (or all of the above), come to the Smoky Mountains and relax.

Smokies Sunrise is a 2 bedroom, 2 full bath Log Cabin that sleeps 4 (can accommodate 4 adults comfortably) located approximately 5 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge and 10 miles from downtown Sevierville on Bluff Mountain. This beautiful Log Cabin has cathedral ceilings and a wrap-around porch that offers magnificent views of the mountains and the valley of Pigeon Forge. Relax in the hot tub on the secluded "back" deck. You can see the sparkling lights in the valley below as well as the fireworks from Dollywood on Saturday nights.

Smokies Sunrise has a full-size, completely equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and up-to-date appliances. It also offers a new washing machine and dryer as well as an outdoor grill. Along with a full bath on the first floor, the bedroom is equipped with a new queen log bed and log furniture. The master bedroom/loft offers a queen log bed, bathroom with shower, and LED/LCD HD TV with hundreds of channels. The loft has phenomenal views of the mountains, city lights at night and sunrise.

The Great Room has a two and a half story wall of windows providing a breathtaking view and a wood burning fireplace (firewood not supplied). The leather sofa and chair were replaced within the last couple years as well. The LED/LCD HD TV receives over 200 satellite channels as well as a Blu-Ray/DVD Player and a sound bar for great movie/sports watching and for listening to your favorite music from your own device via Bluetooth. You can bring your laptop or other devices because this cabin features Free cable Wi-Fi access.

On Smokies Sunrise's wrap-around porch you'll enjoy a swing, rocking chairs and an umbrella table with chairs all with spectacular views of the mountains. By the charcoal grill you can sit in the Adirondack chairs, sip your favorite beverage and gaze at the ridgeline of the Smoky Mountains. Relax in the hot tub on the secluded back deck with a view of Bluff Mountain.

Smokies Sunrise is within easy driving distance of amusement parks, such as Dollywood and Splash Country, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment in Pigeon Forge (such as The Island), Gatlinburg, and Sevierville. If outdoor activities are your thing, you're near golf courses, Ober Gatlinburg Ski Slopes, Douglas Lake, horseback riding, ziplining, and Cades Cove, one of the largest wildlife and biking reserves in the United States, located in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND PURCHASING TRIP INSURANCE IN CASE YOU ARE UNABLE TO MAKE IT TO THE CABIN DUE TO WEATHER OR ANY OTHER UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES. THE ROAD TO THE CABIN IS PAVED, BUT THE LAST 1/8 MILE IS STEEP AND CAN BE SLICK WHEN WET OR ICY. TO GET THESE GREAT VIEWS, YOU HAVE TO GO UP. A CABIN IN THE VALLEY JUST ISN'T A MOUNTAIN CABIN!

Best Mountain Cabin Ever
The cabin was clean amd well maintained. The views were absolutely breathtaking. We had 2 bears that came around a few times in the evening. Communicating with the owners was easy. I can't wait to go back !! Definitely will stay here again!

Beautiful!!
The view from the cabin is AMAZING!! Definitely worth the drive up the crazy hills (for sure recommend driving in a car that’ll get you up steep hills, & during nicer weather). The owners are super nice and made sure we had the best stay. The cabin was clean and we had plenty of towels, blankets, & pillows available. The hot tub was great and it was nice to come back to at night after exploring Tennessee, especially with the cute hanging lights outside. You do have close neighbors on all sides, but it still felt like a peaceful private stay.

Clean, quiet cabin, steep drive
Loved staying at this cabin. The kids had a blast and it was a perfect setup for our family of 4. I read reviews on the drive up to the cabin and wasn’t super worried as I have a four-wheel-drive truck. However, I will admit I did white knuckle it up the road to the cabin. I was very thankful that we did not have rain during the trip and did not run into any oncoming traffic on the one lane road. So just beware the drive is the scariest part. Love the porch, the swing, the hot tub, the views & grilled out one of the nights. It is a very quiet area, away from all the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge. We would stay here again, but just pray that it doesn’t have bad weather. The drive up to the cabin would be a little scary in a downpour. But with everything said we loved our stay there! (Oh! And one evening my kids and I decided to go for a walk up the hill to see different views, and we only made it three houses up before we ran into a black bear. He was just chilling out in the neighbor’s yard. We slowly backed away, and will never forget our bear encounter.)

Girls Trip
First of all, the owners, David and Tristan, were/are amazing! They changed a reservation for us and were just so helpful and great!! Now the cabin…. It was absolutely beautiful!! The view is amazing! The hot tub was nice and the cafe lights around there was a perfect mood lighting for hanging out and chit chatting outside! The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, coffee maker, pretty much everything you need! I can’t say enough about how great it was!! I will definitely go back! Just make sure you have a 4 wheel drive in the rain! It was an adventure going up the hill! Thank you again David and Tristan!!

Our family lives in metro Atlanta. We've always loved the mountains and the peace, quiet and relaxation that they offer. We also enjoy the many outdoor activities, specifically the amazing hiking opportunities in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Why they chose this property

We visited the Smoky Mountains back in 2006 with friends who owned a couple of cabins (including the one that is now ours!), and immediately felt at home. Specifically, Bluff Mountain provides that peaceful, secluded feeling we were looking for in a home-away-from-home along with the absolute BEST views of the Smoky Mountains you'll find in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg/Sevierville area. That's why we named the cabin 'Smokies Sunrise.' Take a look at some of our pictures and you'll see why. We also really enjoy the wildlife in the immediate area and throughout the national park.

What makes this property unique

The cabin is located on a street that sees very little traffic, and you can be down the mountain in the middle of all there is to do in the area in 10 minutes.
