Why the Owner Chose Tionesta: Growing up in the nearby town of Fryburg has always been a draw for our family to come back and call this area home. We have been blessed to live and visit many parts of the world. This area encompasses not only the beauty and tranquility of Pennsylvania but enables us to enjoy everything we love about the outdoors and quiet, family time together.
The Unique Benefits of this Farmhouse: Because our property is completely private, we enjoy family time together whether it be taking long walks, hiking our property, fishing, hunting, boating on nearby Clarion River and Allegheny River, reading or watching the sunset from the amazing wrap-around porch or lying in our hammock and listening to the waterfalls on the pond just off the back porch. There is great sledding in the winter and cross-country skiing on the property. Horseback riding is nearby as well. There is a local state park within a short 20 - 25 min. drive where you can enjoy swimming and their outdoor live theatre!
Fishing on the Rappadan in Virginia
We came with 4 families from our neighborhood for a weekend get away and it was so perfect for everyone! The kids loved playing in the fields and swinging on the swing. The parents loved the porch! We all had a great time making s'mores at the firepit. Thank you!
