About this property

Situated in a pine forest this very private log home has two friendly porches to view the visiting deer and wild life. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing stay, this is your home away from home. The rustic setting and log cabin décor only add to the authentic country feeling. Should you be inclined for some outdoor sports you'll find pretty much everything from a peaceful walk in the woods to extreme outdoor sports just down the road from us. There's also a small airport hence the street name of "Airport Rd". LOL.

We love nature. We love art. We love music and sometimes we just love the peace and quiet this place provides. I taught art for many years and my daughter (your property manager) Leo, is a singer also. While you enjoy our home, we are in Portugal enjoying my husband's homeland. We hope you feel the love we've put into our home. It is def a blessing to us.

Why they chose this property

Every one who comes here (even delivery guys) comment on how cute, peaceful and inviting this place is. I've added many whimsical things like large cement toad stools, outdoor sculptures like bunnies and kitties. All for your enjoyment.

What makes this property unique

We are in a unique area in that our area has many medicinal wild flowers such as the Queen Anne's Lace, mullen and golden rod. You can make teas with this that benefit things like gout. It's also unique in that we are centrally located roughly an hour from Huntsville, North Bay and Parry Sound cities. We are also nicely placed among several parks. You can even canoe into our Nation's famous Algonquin Park from the closest town to us (South River). We have craft beer too! Enjoy a couple after your hike in the park.
