About the Owner

We moved from Ohio to Littleton, Co 20 years ago & bought our 1st place in Grand Lake 18 years ago. We have 3 boys: twins that are 18 years old & an 14 year old. When they were younger they loved to go to the cabin & catch frogs, butterflies, grasshoppers, play on the swingset, enjoy the wildflower or just hang out on one of the big rocks to have a picnic.

RELAXING, COMFORTABLE & GREAT VIEWS
  • 5 of 5
My family truly enjoyed our stay at Seven Acre Wood. The cabin is very spacious and comfortable. We were very impressed with the well stocked kitchen. The views from the deck were spectacular. The elk and deer came within 30 ft. of the deck and we had a great time taking photos. Our family will return to this cabin to stay again. Thank you Maureen & Jeff.

Great Family Vacay

  • 4 of 5
We just returned home following a wonderful family trip to Estes Park and Grand Lake. This home was spectacular! Really well-appointed, cozy and close to town. Everything was just as described. We saw dozens of elk and deer right in the yard by the house. We will definitely be back to stay here again!

Great place to call home for a week

  • 5 of 5
We were lucky enough to stay a week in this great property. It is very private, you can barely make out the few surrounding homes. The lot was enough room to spend a morning exploring with our almost two year old. It was great wildlife viewing right out the window including mule deer, elk, moose, lots of birds and more. The house is nicely done. We didn't use the lower level much but it looked like a lot of fun for kids a little older than ours or for the adults. The main floor had a nice floor plan. The kitchen, dining room, and family room was a great place to gather and enjoy meals or the fire at night. Beautiful views fill all the windows. The beds were very comfortable, with two bedrooms on the main floor with king beds in each. The toy room upstairs in the loft was great for us and even appreciated the bath toys. The master upstairs was large and had a nice 3/4 master bath. You do get a little bit of road noise off the highway below but not bad. Overall, definitely one of the nicer places we have stayed. Thanks for the opportunity to enjoy it!

Gorgeous Property with Spectacular Views

  • 5 of 5
What can you say about this property?? WOW!!! In the early morning, you can hear Canadian geese calling to each other as you watch them fly across the lake. During the day, hummingbirds, foxes, mule deer and playful chipmunks scurry about. In the evening, elk silently graze on the property. But at night - the faint glow of the town's lights reflect off of the lake and the stars are magnificent.

We enjoyed hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park and to Adams Falls. Grand lake is a lovely quaint town and the people are very friendly. Many little shops and restaurants to explore. Lots of activities and attractions for families. The property is very clean and well maintained.

If you are searching for a vacation rental, this is a must stay!!! Do not pass on this property. We will definitely recommend this property to our family, friends and clients.

Thank you to Jeff and Maureen for sharing your home with us.

Perfect getaway

  • 5 of 5
If you are looking for a private retreat with amazing views this is the place for you! The cabin is surrounded by woods with a great view of the lake below. It is quiet and peaceful but still close enough to enjoy RMNP and the town of Grand Lake.

The cabin itself is tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. Everything we needed to enjoy our stay was within reach. The owners provided a wealth of information about restaurants, shopping and nearby activities. Even though we have been to the area many times we discovered some new hidden gems.

We would definitely stay here again!
