Orange Beach 6/22

The location was perfect & the property was clean. However, it had a very musty smell & everything was always a bit damp. Anything made of cardboard like cracker boxes, Kleenex boxes and even the toilet paper was always damp. The ice cube trays are cracked so the water leaked out of them onto the bottom of the freezer. The carafe for the coffee maker is also cracked. The microwave looks and sounds like it's on its last leg. A few updates & taking care of the ventilation would make this unit perfect.

Very outdated

The condo is VERY outdated. Super uncomfortable beds. We stayed for 4 days, the fridge did not work. We couldn't get anyone to come out and fix it until the 2nd night. It was very cramped in there. The view was great but that's about all that was good. I'd recommend for one person, definitely not worth the money we spent.

Electrical and plumbing issues

A lot of the electrical outlets throughout the entire condo would not work, even once swatting the correct light switch on. Either the top plug wouldn’t work or the bottom plug wouldn’t work in various outlets. The tub in the bathroom did not drain every time we took a shower it would fill up immediately with water to where while taking a shower your standing in a about a foot of water. The sink did not drain either. We had to be careful when brushing our teeth and washing our face and what not because it would fill up so quickly and almost over fill. The wall on the back side of the condo where the sliding glass doors are had white patches where they come in to fix holes or spots I assume. I wasn’t really sure why they didn’t just paint the rest of the entire wall that color, but I’m surprised they let someone rent with it in the condition it was in to be honest. The unit needs much updating and maintenance work. They had several outdated things even with the furniture it was all outdated, I think the three seater might have been the newest looking piece of anything. The outside storage closet door did not shut it would swing up with the wind and we had to keep propping a chair against it to stop it from blowing around so much. I love pheonix condos, I always have but this unit I was really disappointed in for the money we paid for a 1 bedroom. We could have gotten somewhere at the same price if not cheaper and larger, in much better condition than this unit. I’ll be considering other properties after staying at this one. I generally never write bad reviews because I know nothing is going to always be to my liking everyone has different taste in things, and different expectations when vacationing, but it went from one problem to another for the entirety of our trip.

Outdated

This unit could really be updated and completely renovated. At check in, the unit was extremely muggy and everything had a sticky feel to it, we kept the doors opens and all the fans going for a while and wiped everything down and didn’t have a problem with that the rest of the week. The unit did have a bad smell to it that we tried to mask with air freshener which did help some. We had to keep our flip flops or socks on in the unit because the floors would make the bottoms of our feet black. Beds were uncomfortable. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful time

We loved our 4 day trip to the beach, the condo was cute, pool was great, beach beautiful, grills on location clean, staff was great. Only thing is this condo really needs to be upgraded from the furniture inside & on the patio to the counters in the kitchen. And the walls really need to be painted. The master bed sleeps like a dream. Always had a good night sleep. The view was AMAZING!!!! I would for sure book that room again but would love for it to be upgraded indoor patio & inside.
