* 10-minute walk to Castro/Market, the heart of Castro.

* Easy public transportation to downtown. Muni #24 bus stop is right at the door steps (Castro & 22nd St) which goes to Castro, Pacific Heights and transit to downtown.

* Walking distance to fun Mission and vibrant Castro.

* Easy access to the US 101 and 280 freeway to peninsula or wine country.

* The entire flat is newly renovated with hardwood floor throughout, double pane windows, new drywall and furnace; Kitchen and bathroom are newly upgraded;

* Kitchen opens to a beautiful garden with wood deck, outdoor seating chairs and table.

* Full bathroom shower over tub, beautifully detailed tile;

* Fully-equipped kitchen stocked with everything needed to cook and eat in: gas stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffeemaker. Dishes, pots, pans, glasses are provided. The kitchen also has a cozy eating nook with a table and four chairs.

Wonderful stay in San Francisco

We had a delightful stay at Grace and Steve's garden suite. We are a family of 5 and found the accommodations very comfortable and convenient. The listing description accurately describes the accommodation, the property was very clean and well maintained. Grace was very responsive to questions and was always welcoming and gracious. I would highly recommend this property. The location in Noe Valley is terrific, also.

When we arrived it was - to us - 3am, so were very tired. I went to bed and slept well, something unusual for me the first night away.
The apartment was exaclty as I'd pictured it from the description, with a well-appointed kitchen, comfortalbe lounge and luxurious bathroom. the two pairs of slippers was a lovely touch and practical too. The deck and small garden were attractive, and everything spotless. I personally would have liked a washing machine.
Grace and Steve, the owners, were charming, helpfully allowing us their parking space.
I would be happy to recommend this flat friends or family, it was "home from home", and close to shops and transport. A tram downtown is only a short walk away.
we enjoyed exploring the local restaurants, as well as going to Alcatraz, Pier 39, and further afield spent time in Yosemite Park.

We loved staying at this Garden Suite!

We ( 2 adults & 2 kids) stayed at the Garden Suite for 1 week while visiting San Francisco & it was perfect. The suite is conveniently located in a beautiful neighborhood just 2 blocks away from Castro & 24th where all the little coffee shops, restaurants, & small boutiques are; also Whole Foods supermarket. Literally across the street there is a convenient store which came in handy as we arrived late at night and it was open early morning for us to buy something for breakfast. Also saved us many trips to the supermarket when on a rush. At the corner is the stop for the public bus which was fairly reliable & took us anywhere we wanted; so for the most part we did not need a car. The suite itself is super clean, very nicely decorated & very comfortable. It can easily sleep 4 plus people. Grace is a gracious host & she was very helpful and always answered promptly whenever we had any questions. We definitely recommend this place and we'd love to stay there again when in San Francisco.

Location near markets and the cute 24th St. shopping area of Noe Valley, not walkable by me as I am hill-challenged, but probably great for anyone who can walk the hilly parts of SF.
