This beautiful home can sleep up to 6 persons with use of Guest Cottage.

Located in the hills above of Santa Barbara between the city and the sea, this authentic adobe was built in the mid 1950's by master Adobero, Senor Aguilar. With panoramic views of the city and mountains and a peek of harbor, this welcoming home will provide you with the quintessential Santa Barbara vacation! You enter the property through old Mesquite Gates and descend to the private courtyard, complete with fountain, citrus trees and barbecue. This is a perfect spot for morning coffee, afternoon naps or a casual dinner. The main house has two bedrooms, each with a private bath. The master has a king bed, and the second bedroom has a queen. The kitchen is beautifully appointed with a Viking range and professional appliances for any discriminating cook. On the view side of the property you will find a terrace and 'sit in' stone fire pit with stunning vistas of the city and mountains. The property also has a guest cottage that can accommodate two more persons. It contains an extra long twin trundle, full bath, and secluded terrace with mountain and city views. (PLEASE NOTE THAT THE USE OF THE GUEST COTTAGE IS ONLY AVAILABLE WITH STAYS OF 30 DAYS OR LONGER, EXTRA CHARGES APPLY. ALSO, IT IS NEVER RENTED TO A SEPARATE PARTY FROM THE MAIN HOME. ) The home is less than a 7 min drive to the beach or downtown and has three flat screen TV's with satellite HD TV service, internet access, central heat and off street parking.

The perfect getaway!!!

We had such an incredible time staying at the Hilltop Adobe! Mark's home is beautiful and quaint, it was perfect. Our favorite time of the day was sitting outside enjoying our coffee with the view when our 2 year old took his morning nap. Then it was off to the beach for the afternoon and then the difficult decision of what to cook for dinner. The kitchen was so spacious for cooking and fully equipped, so we had no boundaries when it came time for dinner! We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Santa Barbara, we had such a beautiful family vacation!

Very beauiful property.

This home was superb. The location and the atmosphere surrounding the home was better than expected. Sitting out on the back patio and overlooking Santa Barbara in the early evening was as good as it gets. The home itself had everything you would ever want. This was the best vacation rental we have ever stayed in and would do so again in a second.

A Memorable Stay

A lovely, lovely home, beautifully furnished, warm, comfortable and inviting. We spent 5 weeks here February into March and took home many happy memories of the beautiful view of Santa Barbara and the mountains from the terrace, the cozy fireplace, the upscale furnishings and the pleasures of Santa Barbara. Sexy, Romantic, Perfect House

My husband and I stayed here for three wonderful nights in September. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood a few minutes drive from downtown and the beach. While the house is nestled among other houses, you almost wouldn't know it. Marc has done an amazing job of screening neighbors while adding layers of texture, furniture and art - thereby creating a wonderful, comfortable and romantic atmosphere inside and out. We loved the house, the view and the way everything you needed was right at your fingertips, including travel magazines, throw blankets for cool nights and great music all throughout the house. I highly recommend this house -- and I tend to be really picky! Thank you Marc.

Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner, Mark. Mark took his time in showing us around the property and explaining how everything functioned, such as the awesome stereo system, lighting and firepit. Mark was very gracious in spending time sharing with us the history of the adobe house. We thoroughly enjoyed the gift basket that was left for us. The home exceeded our expectations, and was even better than described. Unfortunately, we were only there to enjoy this home for 7 nights. We were in Santa Barbara for our sons wedding. During the 7 days we entertained just about every day and night. Perfect house to entertain family and friends. The house is completely stocked with just about anything you would need. The beds were comfortable, towels luxurious, kitchen completely stocked. We were somewhat familiar with Santa Barbara and made sure to visit our favorite restaurants such as, The Boat House, Olio and La Playa Azul. We would most definitely return to this amazing home with an amazing view of Santa Barabar and highly recommend others to visit this location.
