About the Owner

Nicolle & Robert are your Inn Keepers and Sandy & Jerry are the property owners!!

Jerry and Sandy have always considered New Mexico a second home. Having the sights, sounds and smells of the high desert has always been a privilege.

Sandy was born in Santa Fe and having relatives in Albuquerque and Santa Fe has certainly made the stays in Rio Rancho welcoming and fun.

Even though Jerry was born in Atlanta he feels a strong affinity for the desert southwest and particularly the high desert area.

Everything was in great shape, the place was clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. The owners were great and made sure we were comfortable and made themselves available to answer any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting ABQ.

Definitely a home away from home!

  • 5 of 5
The house was a perfect place for myself and 5 girlfriends to go and celebrate our 60th Bdays. The property was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was stocked better than my kitchen at home with every thing a cook would want. The deck was beautiful! Nicolle was the best property manager I have ever dealt with. If we needed recommendations or had questions she was just a quick text message away! If I get the opportunity to go back to NM I am definitely going to look for a house that she manages!

Great base for Golf Trip

  • 5 of 5
Stayed at Sandia Vista for an extended golf weekend. We played at UNM (next to the airport), Cochiti (~45min north towards Santa Fe), PaaKo Ridge (`50min from house, east of the Sandia mountains), and Twin Warriors (~5 minutes from the house) and the house was a great place to come back to every night and relax.

The hosts were very hospitable and responsive to our questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location and beautiful home!

  • 5 of 5
This house was great for our family to stay, while in New Mexico for a family wedding at the Sandia Resort & Casino. The decor is beautiful, the house was very clean and stocked with extra amenities. We enjoyed the beautiful view while relaxing on the wonderful patio! The location made it easy to hop on I25 to head north or south, great location. We would highly recommend this house for any vacation, relaxing, shopping, adventure or sightseeing. We did some treasure hunting, with no luck, but plenty of great memories!

Great property with all the amenities!

  • 5 of 5
We loved this house. It had everything we needed (including TWO food processors)! This is a great place for folks who like to cook (all the kitchen amenities you could ask for). The house was clean and spacious and the patio was the highlight. We enjoyed our evenings on the patio with a fire in the fire pit under the stars. Beautiful!! A perfect spot for family reunions! It’s also close to some great hiking in state parks!

Truly a Home Away from Home!

  • 5 of 5
This home is so magnificent. It was the perfect place for our group to come and stay together. The house had absolutely everything we needed and more, including very comfortable beds! I've never been so relaxed and felt so at home on vacation before. The house is in a great location to visit all of the popular tourist locations, which we were able to do! The home was so clean and was able to fit our whole group. The space is beautiful and the view of the Sandia Mountains from the backyard is even more beautiful. I loved being able to relax on the back porch in the mornings. I would love to come back to this "Sandia Vista" and could not have asked for a better place to stay.

The proximity to Albuquerque and Santa Fe made Rio Rancho the ideal location to purchase a home for Sandy & Jerry! The pleasure of being able to get up every morning and say 'Good Morning' to the Sandias is a piece of Heaven. The neighbors are special and have always looked out for us.

From the Owner

Sandy & Jerry love these things about 'Sandia Vista': Our family has always enjoyed the hiking, horse back riding and skiing that the area offers. Pueblo feast days are enjoyed by everyone and the pueblo people always make visitors feel welcome. We are surrounded by pueblos and they are very unique. Traveling up Highway 4 through the Jemez Mountains is spectacular. Stopping along the Jemez river to listen to the river and eating lunch in Jemez Springs makes everyone happy. Continuing up '4' through the Valle Caldera and onto Los Alamos then down through Santa Fe makes for a full pleasurable day. Every time we head in a new direction there is so much to see and enjoy. Just a day of shopping in Santa Fe or Old Town Albuquerque is unforgettable. The 'Rail Runner' (train stops in Bernalillo just down the road) to Santa Fe is full of vistas as it travels along side the pueblos and through Waldo Canyon. Since Sandy is an avid casino goer, the surrounding casinos are a draw. (Better than Vegas) Out of town guests are always waiting for the next invitation to come.
