A cliff-edge breezy villa facing the Atlantic. House newly constructed in summer 2013 and fully equipped with new appliances and comforts. Quiet and secure residential neighborhood. Dramatic cliff-side views and scenic evening strolls.

There are 3 ensuite bedrooms, all with terraces opening onto the sea. The morning sunrise over the ocean greets you from the balcony and can be appreciated with an early dip in the pool before coffee. Screening the sun by early afternoon, the shaded 2 level terrace overlooks the pool with the ocean just fifty yards beyond.

Two identical spacious master suites are upstairs with ensuite baths, all opening onto the upper terrace facing the ocean. The modern equipped kitchen and granite island seating expands outside as a focal point for conversation and relaxed dining on the tiled terrace.

Fully equipped, the coastal get-away has cable HD TV, local phone and stable wi-fi. The traditional Barbados multi-louvered house design, without glassed windows, provides constant flowing ocean breeze and a cool airy atmosphere. At night and during quiet moments of the day, you can hear the ocean surging against the rocks below.

The immaculately maintained 200 square foot pool faces the cliff with ledge seating for meditating on the deep blue and turquoise horizon. A gas-fired BBQ allows for quick grilling of fresh fish from Oistens market. Less than 15 minutes from the airport, the safe residential neighborhood is quiet in the evenings for relaxing strolls along the escarpment and lanes.

Two beautiful white sandy beaches, including the world-famous Crane resort, are within 10 minutes’ drive north of the house, and more calm Caribbean beaches are plentiful 15-30 minutes south along the coast to Bridgetown. A grocery store and bakery is a short walk from the house, with a quick connection to the main island highway allowing fast access to tourist areas.

Our local key holder can arrange to meet you at the airport and orient you to the property upon your arrival.

About the Owner

On one of our morning walks on a visit to the island in January of 2010 we came upon a surveyor working the cliff edge and asked what he was doing. He told us someone might be interested in buying the land. We asked what if we wanted to purchase the land who would we contact. The next 26 hours included contacting the realtor, making an offer, finding a lawyer to meet us on a Saturday and signing the paperwork for the land as we left for the airport.

Three and one half years later our dream has come to life in this wonderful home by the sea. We hope that you find the peace and relaxation during your stay that we do.

Thanks for a wonderful stay in Barbados! Your place was awesome.

I have stayed by a small beach in previous visits, but I must say, the pool was a luxury. Especially since we were working outdoors, and the thought of a dip kept us going most of the afternoon.

David was extremely pleasant and helpful, thanks for sending an ex-pat Canadian to meet us!

I was a bit hesitant at renting a place without a/c, but the ocean breeze was just as good, even better I would have to say.

Beautiful ocean view

Very nice villa with a beautiful view of the ocean, bring your binoculars ! It is very spacious, clean and enjoyable.
There is a continous breeze that keeps the house fresh, no need for air conditioning.
The 2 bedrooms upstairs are very large, with also a very large terrace where you can relax.
One thing we liked is that you have lots of shade in the afternoon to protect you from the heat.
Owner was very helpful and responsive from the start to the end. So was David, the manager, always ready to help.We would definetly return.

Beautiful Ocean Views in Quiet Neighborhood

The villa is lovely and Philip was so helpful before we arrived answering all of our questions and the property manager was so helpful when we arrived. The villa is spacious with open views from every room to enjoy the ocean sounds and breezes. The pool was perfect for the end of the day. It is not in a touristy area and you do need a car if you rent this villa. As another reviewer noted it is near the airport so you do hear the planes twice a day but we quickly became accustomed to the noise and didn't even hear them a few times. We enjoyed returning each day to the quiet neighborhood and breathtaking views. We would definitely rent this villa again.

Lovely home with a priceless view!

This home is brand new with a real modern feel located right on the waters edge. The home is well kept and the bedroom layouts are wonderful. Lots of privacy with full ensuite baths. The view is magnificent, especially from the spacious upper balcony! We love the south coast so the location was perfect for us. We frequent the island several times a year so we enjoy the island culture and love the people. If you are looking to stay in a touristy spot, this is not the place for you. It is a developing neighbourhood with larger than normal homes! We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor living space and the pool was lovely for our children. The property manager was helpful and attentive and the only negative would be that twice a day the plane are noisy as this place is located close to the airport (also a bonus for sure).

Phillip, Your villa is very nice. It is new, clean, comfortable and functional. The pool is just right for the size of the villa and was very clean with no care required. The layout of the property maximizes the wonderful sea and sky views and the design promotes full use of the constant breezes flowing through the house. We were happy with the location as it is not in a crowded tourist area, is close to the airport and a good spot for touring the island by car. It is a great example of an island villa that lets you know you are in the Caribbean. A very good value at your rental rates. When we return to Barbados we hope your villa will be available to us as it will certainly be our first choice for another lovely stay on the island. Thank you. Bruce, Reg and Mark
