Come stay in our gorgeous studio apartment nestled into Telegraph Hill in the North Beach area of San Francisco. This cozy and chic studio is located on a small, quiet street just steps from the energy and beat of North Beach. It is a part of a very small “compound” which includes a courtyard and the house where we live full-time. The shared courtyard is filled with lush, tropical plants. It is safe and protected.
Once you leave the compound you can walk one block up the hill to Coit Tower for fantastic views of downtown, Golden Gate Bridge, Bay Bridge, and Alcatraz. Just one block in the other direction are some of the city’s best and most famous restaurants, cafes, and shopping. If you meander a few blocks to the right you will reach Fisherman’s Wharf -- one of San Francisco’s most visited tourist areas. Just blocks in the other direction lies Chinatown and downtown. Whether you are visiting for work or play, you will be central to many activities.
The studio itself is freestanding and includes one large room and a bathroom. There is a queen-sized bed, a folding single bed, and a pack ‘n play for little ones. The studio has a small well-stocked kitchenette, a full bath, TV with cable, and WiFi. A washer and dryer are available to use and are located in the garage below the studio. Fresh sheets, blankets, and towels are all provided.
Secure parking can be found in a number of nearby garages located within three blocks of the studio.

We have lived in San Francisco for over twenty years. As East Coasters we were originally drawn to the city for its vibrancy, artistic nature, and moderate climate. Since moving here we have lived in many parts of the city and have found each area to be unique and special in its own right. However, we especially love North Beach for it’s history, central location, and eclectic vibe.
We work in the fields of health/wellness and are committed to constantly expanding our view of the world. One way we feel we can do this is to open our studio to people visiting from other places.
We have two small friendly dogs (one of whom does bark when she's leaving for a walk -- she never barks otherwise). We are mostly on the go, but also enjoy our quiet family time.
“We purchased our home because it is where we wanted to live. When we found this property we knew right away that the studio would be an attractive rental for travelers form all parts of the world.”
Being in the heart of North Beach we are walking distance to many activities including: restaurants (Mama's, Original Joe's, Park Tavern, Tony's Pizza, Don Pistos, The Square and more), as well as bakeries, bars, City Lights Book Store, bike rental outlets, live music venues, parks, playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts, trolley cars, Pier 39, the Filbert Steps etc.

“The thing we enjoy about this property – besides its great charm -- is the central location to many interesting activities. In the mornings we like to walk down to the Italian/French bakery and buy fresh croissants, biscotti, and bread. Then we hike one block up to Coit Tower and watch the ships come in as we have our treat. On Saturdays we love to walk down the Filbert Steps to the Farmer’s Market at the Ferry Building. Where you can find some of the best local organic foods available. It’s also great for people watching. Many evenings we walk down Grant Ave to local restaurants – there is a fantastic range from super-cheap to high end. The boutiques on Grant Ave offer unique gifts and the clothing stores are excellent for men, women, and children. Our favorite makes exceptional custom shoes and coats. Another daily activity is taking our small dogs to Washington Square Park just two blocks down the hill. At the park we watch groups of folks doing tai chi, dance, and martial arts. Sometimes there is a saxophone player making the most incredible music. In addition to the many activities within steps of our home, we find ourselves leaving the car at home while we walk or take short bus rides to downtown, Chinatown, and the Marina.”
