This third row, 6BR / 6.5BA pet friendly, home with heated pool* & hot tub is ready for vacationers. Less than a two minute walk to the beach, this luxury home displays opulence with brilliant hardwood floors, high ceilings, extensive crown moldings, beautiful marble, stone and granite used lavishly throughout the bathrooms and kitchen.

Offering the ultimate in comfort and recognizing that many times reunions require more than one master bedroom, this exquisite home features three master bedrooms and master baths, all with ornate king beds. The fourth bedroom and the fifth bedroom are each furnished with a queen bed and sleeper chair, and the sixth bedroom has two twin beds with a sleeper chair. Each bedroom has its own private bath, armoire with TV, VCR and/or DVD.

The great room layout will bring everyone together, whether it is for entertainment, dining or cooking. Look for a comfortable, yet sophisticated décor featuring a British West Indies theme highlighted by richly carved dark woods, rattan, leather and rich fabrics in the living and dining areas.

The kitchen will be a showcase with its granite countertops, deluxe appliances, and lighting fixtures. Ornate florals and prints will provide the finishing touches. Windows and sliding glass doors throughout provide exciting views of Hilton Head nature at its best. Please note that there is a pack 'n play available for your use.

Outside, the private pool * and spa*, will be surrounded by lounge chairs creating the perfect environment for rest and relaxation. There's even a multi-hole putting green in the garage, along with a foosball table.

However, if its exercise you're looking for, Hilton Head's newest park provides acres of fun, which includes soccer fields and tennis courts.

No more than two dogs allowed.

* Pool heated upon request at an additional charge with two weeks notice. Please note that this pool can not be heated from November 1st through March 31st.

** Parking is limited to 4 cars.

Roaches & Mold

Roaches & Mold
  • 3 of 5
When we first arrived everything looked great! We were excited to be in such a nice house so close to the beach and a park. It soon all went downhill from there. We started seeing Cockroaches, referred to in this area as "Palmetto bugs". Some were dead, some were very much alive. After inspecting the house we then realized that we weren't surprised. Downstairs in the basement area where we were supposed to be able to enjoy putt putt and foosball we found moisture, mold, and various other insects. No one wanted to stay down there, let alone touch anything that was there, so we all went back up to the main level. My mother in law spotted a few more roaches and spiders before night fall. I found a tiny spider inside my husbands pillowcase that evening and the final clincher was when my husband took our 2 year old son to go potty in our bathroom and our little boy looked up at the vent/light above him and said, "Look an ant." It was NOT an ant. It was a large "palmetto bug" aka American cockroach. After that I made up my mind to call the rental company in the morning, which I did. The lady was very nice and informed me that they are very common in the area and that the locals refer to them as Palmetto bugs. She put in a work order to have an exterminator come in and spray for the pests. The guy came and was great. He sprayed everywhere. Later that night though, I was trying to relax with my son on the couch when a roach started crawling on me! There were multiple other sightings in the house, in our rooms, in our things, even in the kitchen on the counter tops! After driving for 9 hours, my husband and I spent our evening washing and wiping down EVERYTHING we took with us on that trip. I'm still not done. What we didn't get to we left in the car. I plan on getting a bug bomb to take care of that too. Oh, and back to the mold... My nephew found it in his closet upstairs. No wonder some of us had sinus issues to flare up. Overall, this property had serious problems. I was not happy spending $2,000 for a vacation rental where I didn't even feel comfortable enough to sit on the sofa. We won't be renting this property ever again.

*Update
My sister in law went to the dr today. At the house she had an allergic reaction to something and her body wasn't responding to the meds as usual. Her dr said she may have been exposed to something new or developed a new allergy. Since some of us had an increase in sinus problems, mold allergy is HIGH on the culprit list!
