Napa Valley is a world renown travel destination. We love the northern part of the wine country. Calistoga offers the tranquil setting that one is looking for in a vacation or break away. In many ways Sonoma and Alexander valley offer the relaxed traveler a lot of opportunities, especially for the ones that look for family-owned/boutique wineries or for people that long for 'just a weekend away' with family and friends from the city.

A true get-away

  • 5 of 5
We absolutely adored staying at the 'Villa' in Calistoga. The property is tucked away, although just minutes from downtown Calistoga. The little farm, the pond, the gardens, and especially the views make you feel a million miles from the stresses of everyday life. Our little ones loved running around the yard, picking figs off the tree, and watching the deer that came at dusk to drink from the pond. This is a fairy-tale property that we cannot wait to visit again.

Perfect for our needs

  • 4 of 5
The house is clean, up-to-date and very well supplied. The hot tub and deck are large and the view is private and lovely. The kitchen and living room are big and easily hosts an extra couple to visit for dinner. The property manager is very nice and accommodating. The location is in the hills equidistant to both the Sonoma and Napa Valleys, so we had the best of both!

Beautiful, serene, quiet, and overall lovely.

The Villa was beautiful and charming. My family (2 adults / 2 children) had a fabulous time. If only California was not so far from Boston, we'd go back many times over. The house is clean and has everything you will need. The location is PERFECT. So close to everything. The views are magnificent! We also loved how cool the nights stayed making sleep very peaceful. Thank you and we will be sure to recommend to those ever visiting the area.

Great!

Property was great, it's nice in the north end of the valley where it is a bit more low key. Everything was new and in good shape.

very peaceful, clean, comfortable, and relaxing

  • 4 of 5
My sisters and I did a relaxing get away for the weekend at this Villa and was very impressed. The Villa was very clean with full amenities in the kitchen, laundry area, nice living room with 2 private bedrooms. The beds were pretty good to sleep on which was a concern with my sensitive back but I had no troubles. The jacuzzi was an added plus which was also clean, private, and relaxing. A great way to end our days with wine tasting.
If I had to add anything it would be better internet service as sometimes the signal would be strong then weak. That's understandable as the location was off the beaten path tucked in the country. It wasn't too far from downtown Calistoga, just a short drive but be careful driving back at night- it can be hard to find in the dark.
I look forward to coming back again in the future.

Hidden Gem in Napa-Sonoma

  • 5 of 5
I stayed here with my mom, husband, and 2 kids (ages 8 and 10) over Mother's Day weekend. We have stayed in many vacation rentals and this property was one of the best. It was well stocked with every amenity one could possibly need; they thought of everything. The property is very quiet and peaceful with great views and a small pond. It is centrally located between Calistoga and Santa Rosa which made it easily accessible to both Napa and Sonoma. Our highlights were Castello di Amorosa, V. Sattui, Long Meadow Ranch, and Domaine Carneros. We also visited Old Faithful of California which was just okay. I was glad the kids were able to see the geyser, but we probably won't ever go back. Great little restaurant in downtown Calistoga called All Seasons Bistro for lunch or dinner. For breakfast, go to Dierk's Parkside Cafe in Santa Rosa. I highly recommend this property; you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be staying here again.
