About this property

This beautiful, Santa Fe style resort is perfect for a family vacation. The ground floor, one level 2brm cozy condo is just across the the street from the 300 foot private lake front lawn available for your personal use. Walk out on our private docks and jump off the end into the lake. Beside our private spot is a lovely little park and sandy beach for your enjoyment as well. Enjoy all varieties of water-sports on this warm freshwater lake, or if you prefer, paddle around in our complex's pool or hot tub which are both steps from our patio.

Our condo is fully furnished including two bedrooms (queen-size bed and double bunks (double on the bottom and single on top) with fluffy duvets, one bath, granite counter tops, and everything you need for a perfect holiday.The area is noted for its golf courses and you are in the midst of world renowned wineries and the amazing fresh fruit grown at the many local orchards.
Going wine tasting is a must!

Lovely stay!

We spent 10 days in Sari and Doug's condo and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It is well appointed, well stocked and very comfortable. The location close to the pool is ideal. The furnishings and beds were very comfortable. The barbecue was very nice. Any concerns were quickly addressed by Sari. We would most certainly stay again!

Outstanding

This was our first experience renting a property via VRBO so we had some concerns, however the property was beyond our expectations, A/C was great (very helpful during this very hot week), property was clean and well equipped, communication with owner Sari was fluid and constant, check-in was quick. Location of the property was great and close to the lake. Definitely is a property to repeat again!!

On the lake

Great condo and location on the lake for visitors of all ages. Easy car and walking access to the town centre and walking distance to some local amenities.

A very nice stay!

For sure covid and some fire smoke messed up our stay in Osoyoos but we had lots of fun anyways! This place is very clean, fully equipped with all you need items and so perfectly located. It’s just across from a pool and a few more meters from a private beach. It’s just a walking distance to Pizza 97, an amusement park, a bakery and Pho restaurant. We only missed watching DVD movies (there was a very nice collection of them!) because a DVD player was broken. For sure we will be back next summer!

Mark's Daylight Bright Basement Suite

Overall, pretty decent place to stay; great view, easy to find, and cozy. Lots of parking, bright suite, well maintained yard. I blame myself for being disappointed. We stay in a lot of homes for our vacations and have become accustomed to certain things. While this home was fine it did have some issues that can't really be helped but future renters should be aware. First, it is a basement suite and the people who live upstairs are walking around a lot. You can't hear conversations, so that is a plus however, You can hear every footstep, phone ringing, dog barking...etc. It wasn't all the time but it was enough that made us wish we had read the listing a bit better. Secondly, the view is awesome but it is right off the highway and the highway is very busy. The noise travels up and makes sitting in the yard and having a relaxing evening challenging. We did manage to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine or two. The yard is very cute. The sand box/beach area is very clever. The pool is beautiful but slippery and FREEZING. Our children could not spend more than a few minutes in it. The listing does say that the pool is heated but we were very surprised at the temperature because it was warm while we were there (30 deg C) and the water remained so cold (numbing actually). The Okanagan Lake is warmer. The hot tub was cute, but needed some maintenance (previous renters may have had sandy feet) and needed some chlorine and perhaps a filter/water change. It was nice to warm up after the cold pool. The unit does not have an oven, but has a toaster oven (but no tray). The unit is sparsely stocked with cooking utensils: ie: no wooden spoons, spatulas, drying towels, decent sharp cutting knives or cutting boards but lots of glasses and plates and cutlery. The keurig coffee is a nice feature as is the BBQ. The master bedroom bed is super comfortable as were the beds in the kids room. The temperature is controlled by the upstairs. and when the air conditioner on it makes the basement quite cold. I don't want this review to be too negative but just relaying information that I wished I knew prior to booking. I am sure that Mark will take care of the things he can. He is a friendly welcoming guy. If Mark makes a few changes such as upgrading bedding, kitchen supplies, blankets and is conscious of people underneath; he could have a great rental unit.
