A very pleasant surprise!

We enjoyed the Northgate Villa SO much- it was perfect for our family! The villa is kept up very well and the grounds are beautiful. We appreciated the parking space as those are at a premium in Seattle! The value for what we received was excellent.

Very comfortable place

  • 5 of 5
We stayed here at the Northgate Villa for a long weekend to go to a friend's wedding. The location was great, we could get to various places in the Seattle area very easily. Note that this place is pretty close to the freeway, and when you're outside, you do hear the traffic noise, but it's more like white noise in the background, and not very unpleasant. We went for a walk in the neighborhood too. When you're inside however it is very peaceful and quiet, and you don't hear any traffic noise at all.

The villa itself was very comfortable, with plenty of room for people to stay, and was very nicely furnished and equipped. We would definitely recommend this place for anyone coming to Seattle for a visit.

Seattle Girls Weekend

  • 4 of 5
Owner was easy to reach and quick to assist in booking as it was last minute for me for a girls weekend. Owner responded timely via email with required documents. The place was not difficult to find and upon arrival found it cozy and clean. The bed I slept in was very comfortable. The binder left on the dining table was very helpful. I love how Seattle is recycle conscious, but prepare to make yourself familiar with the recycling rules. The location is lovely, but if you want to strictly use Public Transportation, it is a little walk to the bus line. The owner is upstairs and you do hear walking upstairs, but for the most part it was peaceful, and I personally liked having the owner so close by. We did run out of paper towels on the last day and the binder noted where to find another roll, but when I looked at the designated location, there were none. I probably could have made the effort to ask the owner, but didn't want to be a bother. I loved that I was not expected to clean up the place upon leaving and the few simple task that had to be done ws clearly outlined in the binder. I found the accommodations very nice for the price.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for the nice review. One of the great things I find when traveling to other countries and cities is learning how they live and how things are different from my lifestyle. And, yes, Seattle leads the nation in recycling, reuse, and reducing our waste. For your stay, we separate the garbage into three groups: Food and compostable materials - left overs, restaurant take out containers (most send food home in compostable containers) including pizza boxes; Recycles to include paper products, boxes, newspapers, glass, plastic bottles; and last the remainder of the garbage - diapers, and other non recycleables. Flyers from the city with pictures of what goes where are posted in the villa. It is not overwhelming nor does it take a lot of time. There are marked containers to make it just a second thought. Please feel free to let me know when you arrive if something is confusing, or just not going to work for you. We in Seattle, also like to help. Thanks for taking the time to keep our city Beautiful.

As advertised-- a comfortable stay

  • 5 of 5
This 2-bedroom rental was a very comfortable stay for our family of five. We had everything we needed including washer/dryer, dishwasher, small appliances, most of what we would have needed for preparing meals at home, and PLENTY of extra bedding items including extra sheets, blankets, and pillows. There was even a surprise stroller and play-n-pack, the latter of which came in handy because we overestimated our 2-year-old's desire to share in the big-kid bed with the older two. There were some unexpected conveniences such as a small sample of teas/coffees, movies, board games, and popcorn! We were very pleased with the price considering how much it would have cost us for two bedrooms at a hotel or other rental in the area. Thanks!

Great experience

  • 5 of 5
Myself, my daughter and another mother/daughter duo stayed at the residence for a quick trip to Washington. It was the perfect location for what we needed. The facilities were well maintained, the location was prime to the freeway and it was in great condition. My daughter loved the bean bag chair and we enjoyed the property very much. It was described perfectly on line and we would not hesitate to use it again for another trip to the Seattle area. Thanks.
