Second floor condo with sales model furnishings for executive visitors

Our property manager, and your primary contact for use of our condo, is a year round resident nearby in the same Pacifico resort complex. Being fluent in English and Spanish his concierge services will assure you have the ideal tropical vacation experience.

This 3 bedroom condo was featured as a sales model for the high quality Robb & stucky furnishing package and has provided it's first owners a USA winter season escape for past three seasons. It's preferred second floor location provides a swimming pool overlook from both the living room and master bedroom deck(s). This nearest, typically adults only, classical swimming pool is separate from two other available activity pools that feature 25m lap lanes, 10 person whirlpool and children's wading area.

The open condo floor plan has a large living area perfect for family and friends to gather. Surrounded by large palm trees, the balcony has dual 10 foot koolaroo, full coverage, shades making a private outside haven. The master suite king bed has it's own large flat screen tv. The in suite master bath has two sinks and a large shower. The second and third bedrooms both have a queen bed, generous closet space and the living room sofa can be folded out to a queen size bed.

FAQ:

Can you suggest a car service to pick us up and drive us back from Liberia airport 15 miles (25 kilometers) away? Taxi service is available door to door to and from condo to airport for approximately $50 one way. The taxi stand is right in front of AutoMercado grocery store outside the main gate of property that someone can easily walk to and have them direct the driver to condo entry to load luggage.

Is the condo walking distance to the beach, supermarket and restaurants or should we rent a car for the week?The one of the many resort wide free parking area is directly adjoining the base of the entry stairwell. During our previous three consecutive years 2010-2012 staying in condo Nov-April we rented a car on average one weekend a month and all other times just walked, biked or took taxi (1,000 colones or two (2) Dollars between any two points in town) to all daily activities including grocery shopping, ocean beach swimming, etc.. You'll find driving in Costa Rica similar to country, rural driving in USA ... not a lot of traffic and mostly two lane roads mostly well paved, but occasionally gravel, hilly back roads will be used if your tours include Costa Rica's rich outdoor attractions. Bottom line is you can have a great one week visit with or without a car, but with a car your options are significantly expanded for touring many nearby scenic attractions. If you rent a car (available at Liberia airport , not in the town of Coco) definitely include use of rental car GPS, Costa Rica is notorious for not having streets marked with any signs.

You have several washrooms in the condo, is there only one shower? Two full baths, both with large showers. One is private off of master bedroom, 2nd one is shared via hall access back close to 2nd & 3rd bedrooms.

Are there free gym facilities in the condo? Yes there is a local Gym right in Pacifico Retail shops by Resort front gate. No it is not free, the owner has provided discounted weekly rates to guests staying at Pacifico. Their Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/CrossfitCocoBeach

Do the pools get crowded this time of the year? There are three large swimming pools next to condo on property, pools are never crowded, but depending on time of day the resort provided free pool side lounge chairs can be in limited supply. If you pay the minimal one time $50 Pacifico Beach Club fee that covers ALL condo guests for entire week, you'll have full access to the two additional infinity swimming pools overlooking the ocean. Beach Club lounge chairs also have cabana's for sun protection. Pool side service is always available at the Beach Club for drinks and food.

Can you suggest some zip line, bike rentals, tourist attractions we can book when we arrive?Yes, after receiving your reservation to know exact dates of stay & hearing if you'll have rental car for entire stay. Even after staying in Costa Rica for over 12 months during our 3 years of winter snowbirding there we still have a list of new 'to-do's' on our next visit. Never an idle moment in this country, unless that's what your objective is while enjoying the panoramic environment.

Is there a payment or travel protection plan that you offer? To obtain the HomeAway/VRBO travel protection payment for property is made through the “Book It” link on the listing website. They also provide explanation on the web site what is, or not, included as part of this protection service.

Is all of the money due up front or can we pay in installments? Payment in full is required prior to check-in. To obtain the HomeAway/VRBO travel protection payment for property is made through the “Book It” link on the listing website. Our guests also have the option to pay on-site at time of check in using a major credit card or PayPal. Any on-site payments made direct to owner do not include the travel protection service offered by HomeAway/VRBO.

Do you require a security deposit? Yes, $500, an initial rental deposit, will block out the requested rental dates to assure they are not made available to any other party. Upon receipt of payment of rental payment this rental deposit is held as a security deposit until you've checked out and property inspection is completed.

The owners could not have been easier to work with, providing details about the area, day trip ideas, and easy reservation/ checkin/ checkout with an on-site contact. Owner's photos are accurate and represent the property, no need to add my own.

The condo is a fabulous 3 bedroom, 2 bath, with a view of one of the pools. We spent many meals and had morning coffee on the huge terrace listening to birds, and a few evenings in the pools and hot tub. Very relaxing. The resort's pool areas were nice, with comfortable lounge chairs and depending on the time of day, shade or sun if you migrate from one area to another.

Condo furnishings were beautiful and in very nice condition. The master bed was extremely comfortable with high end linens. A generous number of bath and pool towels were provided. The condo was well appointed with a full kitchen with new appliances, lots of granite counter top workspace, and extra touches like a coffee grinder and rice maker in case you decide to dine in. Dishes, cloth napkins, basic spices were provided. Washer/dryer in condo.

Condo was on the second floor, with 1 flight of stairs. Resort was guard gate controlled access, and area was generally quiet, although there was construction on the nearby building when we were there, which would be a temporary issue.

Coco itself is a cute little town with lots of tourist shops and small restaurants. The resort complex is the primary 'new' development in what is otherwise a lesser developed typical Costa Rica beach town. There are 2 or more supermarkets, the one near the resort being more expensive. There are at least 2 fish markets, and a pastry shop across the main road that was quite good. It's more of a party vibe than some of the towns, with a few sports bars, but also options for quiet dining on the beach - kind of full spectrum. I felt safe everywhere I went, but that doesn't mean you should leave valuables in sight if you decide to spend the day at the beach. Highly recommend this condo.

Great, I have no complaints about the property.

Pacifico Resort is a very well kept property. Our unit was clean and well maintained. At the Pacifico Beach Club food and drinks are excellent. I highly recommend this property to anyone planning to go to Costa Rica and planning to stay in this area. It is a much better choice and less expensive than staying in an all inclusive hotel. There is a supermarket (very similar to any supermarket in the US) within walking distance from the property. Villa Italia is the best restaurant by far in this town, it is on a dirt road off main street. If you are looking for a white sand beach, Coco is not the best, the sand is very dark. Flamingo beach a drive away has a beautiful beach and white sand. It is safe to drive around. The roads are not the best but it is safe. If you rent a car, get a GPS.

Owner's Response: Thanks Daniel for your highlighting some of the attributes that make Costa Rica an adventure, more than just a tropical destination. Unlike in North America and Europe where it is taken for granted streets will be well marked and conveniently using our smart phone map's App will easily get us anywhere by car, in Costa Rica the few street signs that there are can't be relied on as being accurate and GPS's containing Costa Rica specific road and town landmarks have proven to be much more reliable than smart phone Map App's. The local volcanic lava generated black sand remind's us of the similar picturesque beach's at Tenerife, Canary Islands and Kona, Hawaii.

Awesome condo with lots of r, exactly as described

The condo was very spacious and had all the amenities you would require. The owners helped us with any questions we had. A grocery store is minutes away and a walk through the town is only 10-15 minutes. The Beach Club is a MUST! We went almost everyday for sunning, lunch and received amazing service! One of the best vacations we have ever had!

Lots of space, well maintained, good location

The condo was very spacious and comfortable. Great amenities and easy access to pools. The condo has everything you need for a vacation, and location is fantastic with easy access to supermarket, restaurants and the main strip in Playas del Coco.

We also appreciated access to beach club which is very comfortable for lounging.

Would recommend having a car to get around the area. Condo is highly recommended and great value compared to hotels. Home away from home.

The Pacifico gated community resort is walking distance to: - Pacific Ocean - grocery stores - retail mall boutique shopping - bike rental shops, Coco Gym & health spa - fast food & fine dining restaurants - scuba diving shops, whale watching excursions - souvenir shops servicing local visitors & arriving cruise ships - banks, hardware store, casino, computer service and other typical small town retail needs The Pacifico property administration operates a periodically scheduled, no cost, 5 minute shuttle service to the exclusive Pacifico Beach Club. A taxi stand is located at Resort entrance with one way fee of $2 USD cost to reach any town of Coco destinations. As a guest of our condo, pool side food and daily maid service is available during your stay for an additional fee. City of Liberia, Costa Rica Airport named Daniel Oduber International Airport (LIR) is the closest airport only 20 minutes away by car and spacious outside parking lot is conveniently located next to condo entrance.

Zip Line rides, ATV trails, volcano hikes, jungle river boat rides are the inland attractions close by the town of Playas Del Coco. This is an active organized swimming, running and biking community that has frequent organized group activities advertised for all to participate.

Having a rental car is optional as most guided activities include resort entry gate pickup and drop service. Immediately outside resort entry gate all within brief walking distance are 4 grocery stores. banks, ATM, pharmacy, medical clinic, bakery, restaurants, hardware store, beauty parlor, souvenir shops, bars, retail shops, casino, fresh fruit stands, etc.
