Amazing Property!

We had the pleasure to rent Arcadia from June 13, 2014 - July 13, 2014. It was the most wonderful beach house we have come across. The owner obviously took great time in making sure the finished project was a home he would live in, himself vs just doing what he needed to to for a rental property. The bathrooms were finished sparing no expense. The master barroom boasts a rain shower head, a detachable nozzle that made it simple to wash down the little ones. Finding hair dryers in the cabinets was a god send!
The kitchen has a sit up bar that could be used for serving or direct eating. While making your dinner at the sink, you overlook the beautiful ocean and your guests enjoying it.
If you wanted to relax one evening from the beach, the couches envelope into a cozy movie night!
Arcadia has one of the only truly ocean front property with garage and driveway parking (a true commodity in Wrightsville). It is located on a very family oriented street, where ones privacy can also be achieved.
The location is unbelievable! You are steps from the ocean and the owner graciously includes a beverage cart that can easily be refreshed by the independent ice maker solely dedicated for that purpose. You are with in walking distance of some of the best local eateries and shops. You can walk over to the pier to see the majority of the beach area.
We traveled with our three kids and each child brought a friend. We were never crowded, never bored. They learned how to surf, catch baby turtles, rode their first ferry and enjoyed the expansive fireworks on the beach!
We loved having the owner on site for two reasons, he was a wealth of knowledge and had all the great recommendations of the local places to go!!! We especially appreciated the owner being on site when Hurricane Arthur approached.
We have a rental property in Vail, Co and know the stress that comes with renting. This owner takes great care and pride with his property as well as his renters.

Thank you for allowing us to over stay our welcome! Loved every minute of it!

Beautiful it is... The pictures definitely are spot on Great view, Great location. Unfortunately the landlord lives above with his Mother and wants to come to dinner. He was always around at dinner time and talking about the previous renter being a great cook but she put the pots in the dishwasher. (That makes him mad apparently). It is obvious he has a hard time renting his property out. He keeps track of when you come and go. We left the door unlocked for my husband to get in from the airport when we were at dinner and he locked him out and would not answer his door. After we had the rental agency come to let him in at 10:30pm he answered the door and acknowledged he saw my husband leave in a taxi. He knows how many times you open and close the doors and will reprimand you if you do it too often due to the air conditioner. He had obviously been in the rental after we were let back in as our suitcases were moved in the master closet. Our first week was awesome, but I guess we over stayed our welcome as our second week was not. We should have spent less and had a better experience. The good news is that we have lots of local family and spent more time with them at their homes the second week.
We have a multi million dollar home we rent out in Canada. We know there are nightmares when it come to renting out, but I promise, we were easy and respectful of his property. We are 2 parents in our 50's with young teenagers that are very active outdoors and have manners. It was weird. Bryant Realty was great. They handled the situation well and we highly recommend them. I will be back to Wrightsville Beach, but at a new location. Too bad, it is beautiful.

"We are glad that you recognize that this oceanfront residence is very exclusive and well maintained. The Owner/family also consider privacy of utmost importance to themselves and any of our clientele.

For safety reasons: 1)Renters cannot leave the residence unlocked while they are away and 2) If a Renter requests a service call, (even unwarranted, as in this case), you cannot expect the Serviceman to leave the property unlocked when he is done.

Throughout their stay and even up to the last day, the vacationers frequently and openly expressed their concern, that "we hope the Owner will allow us to come back!?"
