About the Owner

We are a young but large family of seven. My wife and I grew up in California but moved to Colorado shortly after we were married. We love it here and are a very 'outdoorsy' family.

Cozy Cabin

  • 5 of 5
This cabin is so well kept. Very comfy with lots of places to sleep. We loved cooking in the full kitchen and it was extra helpful that they had a high chair for our little one to sit in. We enjoyed the views and toasting smores in the fire pit. Plenty of bathrooms and tv's for entertainment/movies. We'd defintely come back. The owners were so kind and communicative. Great property! Thank you so much!

This home is absolutley beautiful! We enjoyed our stay very much and have many plans to come back in the winter and summer. The home is very well kept and the views are spectacular! We had so much fun in Grand Lake sledding and even rented snow mobiles for the first time. Great trip...even better memories for my girls' birthdays. Thank you! Thank you!!

Beautiful views, an amzing getaway location!

We loved our time here! The cabin is in pristine condition with more than enough amenities. The beds were very comfortable, and there was more than enough space for our whole family. We spent most of the time playing in or around the cabin and we weren't bored once! The cabin had lots of games and activities in the yard and in the house. The views are spectacular!!! We also went hiking & sledding nearby and absolutely loved our time in the sweet little town of Grand Lake. It is an awesome place to shop, eat, or just walk around. The owners of the cabin, Becca and Ryan, were more than helpful in answering our questions and putting our comfort and convenience first! We highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back!!

Great escape--a little piece of Heaven on Earth

  • 5 of 5
This was my first visit to Grand Lake. My visit was in the fall just as the leaves were turning colors and the air was crisp and clean. I was grateful to have sunshine and the beauty of nature all around. I saw an elk yards away from the cabin drinking and so many more on my drive through the national park.

The views from this cabin are beautiful and I enjoyed just gazing out the window looking at the lake or sitting on the swing on the porch relaxing in the back yard. I was able to take walks with breathtaking views of snow capped mountains, hear the sounds of the Colorado River, hike to a waterfall, eat English food at Fat Cats breakfast buffet, and enjoy a horseback ride in the mountains. There was so much to do and see I felt sad to leave. I definitely want to come back.

The cabin is clean, quiet, comfortably decorated with cabin décor with touches of the luxurious throughout. In the evening, it is pleasurable to sit by the warmth of the fireplace and watch movies on the large flat screen TV. I found the mattress comfortable, the sheets soft, and the towels of high quality. It is always wonderful to go on vacation and have the comforts of home with a fully stocked kitchen. The design of the cabin allows it to accommodate many people without feeling cramped or in each other’s way. I would love to come back and will most definitely recommend staying at this cabin to my family and friends. You should check it out too!

From the Owner

As a family we have been visiting Grand Lake for almost 10 years. After many visits, we finally decided to buy a cabin here. We looked for about 3 years and finally found the place that was perfect for us. A cabin with balconies, great view and lots of land for our kids to enjoy. There is so much to do on the property and within walking distance. That is what we love the most about this place. We find Grand Lake very relaxing and it provides an escape from the hustle and bustle of life. We learned a great deal about vacation rentals in Grand Lake over the past 10 years as we were the renters. We always made mental notes of what we liked and what we didn't. We have done our best to set up this rental to include everything we liked and nothing we didn't.

At the western edge of Rocky Mountain National Park sits the historic town of Grand Lake, Colorado. It is a town where one steps back into time, where the store owners proudly manage their businesses, and greet visitors every day from their western boardwalk storefronts. It is home to fabulous dining, overseen by local restaurateurs, and designed to give visitors the optimal dining experience. Grand Lake is a town that buzzes to life at night; live music resonates from local lodges and saloons beckoning patrons inside for premiere entertainment. It is a place that houses the Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre, and frequent festivals and parades.

It is where nature grabs your soul, and visitors understand the feeling of being able to really breathe again here. Its namesake, Grand Lake, is the deepest natural lake in Colorado, dipping to 265 feet. Fed by high mountain runoff, the lake is clear and pristine. Home to the Colorado River Headwaters, streams and rivers snake through the area, inviting you to fish and hike along their waters. In the spring watch the wildlife emerge from Rocky Mountain National Park, cow moose and their young calves toddle across our local streets. In the summer months visitors can explore the lake by boat, kayak, and even paddle boards. Horseback riding, ATVs, and cycling opportunities are as plentiful in the area as the trout are in our waters. Golf, hot air balloon, and live your dreams here.

Winter also invites visitors to play in Grand Lake’s winter wonderland. Grand Lake is the “Snowmobile Capital of Colorado,” with over 125 miles of groomed trails. Cross Country ski, ice fish, create a snowman, and watch snowflakes peacefully fall to the ground and build upon gathering snow. A thriving creative community is alive in Grand Lake; local artists and galleries are must-sees! Grand Lake invites you to our home, full of year round stunning natural beauty, and the opportunity to actualize what you only dreamed existed. Welcome to Grand Lake, Colorado.
