This upscale 3 level town home sleeps 10 -12 people. It features 9 foot ceilings with a spacious open floor plan on the main level with hardwood floors, beautiful upgraded kitchen with granite counters and large island for the family to gather around. Custom sofa and dining room table complete the first floor. The second level has a amazing master bedroom with upgraded master bathroom and views of the canal and Rehoboth Ave. The second bedroom has a large balcony. The third bedroom has two sets of bunk beds and just outside these two rooms is a full bathroom with double sink. On the third floor is the second master with a huge balcony overlooking the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal, bridge and Rehoboth Ave. There is a park for the kids just on the other side of the bridge and on Tuesdays they have a farmers market. Walk to all the stores on Rehoboth Ave.

Lovely Home - Misleading Description

The home was lovely, good location, nice and new, however the agent was extremely difficult to work with, abrasive, unprofessional and mislead us when we were searching for our rental. When we search, a pool is one of our parameters. When we got there NO POOL!! Upon further research, other listings in this development clearly indicate, pool would not be ready until August. Our agent informed us that her attorney told her she did not have to disclose - that's unacceptable customer service. Her solution was use of the pool in her development that we had to drive to - this does not fit the search parameter. Another disappointment was she did not return our deposit. She claimed that we ruined the coffee table and a night table that totaled over $700. When we called to discuss and explain damage to night table was there and covered with a lamp she denied and became belligerent and handled the call in a completely unprofessional manner. I have rented at least 8 homes from HomeAway and have ALWAYS had the deposit returned. My husband is a bit of a neat freak and always tinkers around whatever property we stay at. Here he cleaned the garage floor so sand and construction debris that was left behind would not be brought into the home when we walked through. He fixed the A/C unit when it stopped working and the thanks we get - no deposit return. When we called to let the agent know about the A/C, she answered and said "call ya back, i'm waiting for an important call" and HUNG UP!
Pros of property - New, good location, fully stocked, plenty of room with the exception of kids room. Also, the agents partner was very welcoming on the day of arrival, letting us leave our bikes in the garage and change to go to the beach before official check in time.
Bottom line - I would recommend the property, however rent from someone else!

This brand new town home is the perfect location. Everything you need and want is within walking distance, from bars and restaurants like Dogfish Head, the Junction Breakwater trail to Lewes, Lighthouse Park and Rehoboth/Dewey Beach Visitors Center. Just on the other side of the highway is Jungle Jim's Water Park and of course outlet shopping is within a mile.
