This Arts and Crafts house is full of charm and detail. It is perfect for multi generations with play areas, swings, slides, football goals in the large gardens and a tea house for afternoon cakes. It is located by the West Highland RR line for day trips to Oban or Fort William or a trip into Glasgow City Centre without the hassle of the car. From the house it is possible to walk to the many restaurants and shops in the small town or over the hills into magnificent highland scenery. Loch Lomond is 5 minutes over the hill. For anyone with an interest in painting or history the house offers both. Built by a famous Glasgow architect and his painter/embroiderer wife, you will find works of art, books and detail throughout. Guests come back again and again! The area around Helensburgh is perfect for long hikes or simple car journeyed with magnificent scenery.
