The Triplex/Condo features 2 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, and easily sleeps 4 - 6 very comfortably in 3 beds. Fully equipped, just bring your luggage and settle in. Brand new queen size bed, daybed that’s a king size bed too, and a queen size sofa sleeper. There is a fully equipped kitchen, flat screen televisions in living room and master bedroom with extended cable featuring tons of free movie selections. This Triplex is on an extremely quiet residential street with tons of off street parking available. A unique 2 bedroom hideout with easy access to numerous destinations.

My mother and I really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable home. It was in a nice area that was conveniently located near interesting places to sightsee. There were plenty of maps & brochures available too. We were in Seattle for my daughter's graduation and the place was a good size for my mother and I to stay and to entertain our family for dinners. The kitchen was clean and well stocked. While in Seattle we also visited Pike Place Market, Theo Chocolate Factory in Fremont, Volunteer Park & Snoquonomie Falls. We would consider staying at this place again & highly recommend it.

Great stay!

Very smooth transaction. The unit is clean and large. Our family was able to spread out, although we weren't there very often. Getting downtown via car really depended on freeway traffic. If no traffic, it took around than 15 min. to get to the space needle downtown. The manager provided great customer service and refunded our deposit withing hours. We really enjoyed our time.

Dated, but good property and location

Our overall stay and impression with the property was good; however, there are a few things that should be called out. First, If you have more than 4 people or are in need of 3 beds, this is condo is not ideal given the size of the property and that one of the beds is a sofa bed. That said, the owners try to make it as comfortable as possible by providing a memory foam pad for the sofa bed so the typical discomfort that comes along with those beds is reduced significantly.

Second, the bathroom is small, dated, and in need of a serious upgrade. Since there is only one bathroom in the unit, this should be a priority for the owner. This bathroom is especially problematic if you are tall, like me and my sons.

Third, there were fans provided; however, on the warmer days, they were inadequate to circulate the air. I would suggest ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living room to help with this.

Aside from the concerns / suggestions above, the location and maintenance of the unit were fantastic. Being across from a park with a running / cycling trail that is also connected to an additional park was perfect for my teenage boys. In addition, it was very easy for us to get to downtown, the lakes, Bellvue, or I5 if we were headed north to the San Juan Islands. Also, there are some great little restaurants close by. I would highly recommend That's Amore! Italian Cafe which is around the corner.

Finally, the unit was clean and we felt completely safe in the neighborhood, so I would say that this is a good property and one that I would recommend for smaller families / groups. If the owner makes some updates to the unit, it would be a huge benefit and make this good property great!

Sunset Splendor's overall goal is to make guests' stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible; without reviews, we could not accomplish our overarching goal! We are considering adding ceiling fans in all the bedrooms and dining area.

Great property! Sunset Splendor was just as described- clean, easily accessible, and well-maintained. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Situated perfectly for all the places we wanted to go (downtown to Pike Place Market and shopping, to the ferries and Bainbridge Island, Mariners game at Safeco, north to Edmonds for seafood at Anthony's, south to Mt. Rainier for a day trip). The property manager was extremely helpful and responsive. From our first inquiry while planning our trip, to the day that we checked out, she was a great resource for us. We hope to come back very soon.

Wonderful and private!

We were first time visitors to Seattle and had a lovely time. The apartment is immaculate and fully equipped. We had a little trouble with electronic door lock (my fault), but once that was settled, we were issue free. It was a little small for five people, but since we were sight-seeing so much, it didn't really matter. We would return in a heartbeat!

Clean and comfortable

This place was wonderful. Sunset Splendor was very accommodating and their place really clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay their again. Compared to other places I looked, it was also reasonably priced. it has wi-fi and a t.v in the living room and one in bedroom.

Once you arrive, a skip across the street, is 'Sam Park' (tennis court, children toy), and the entrance to one of Seattle’s best organized scenic trails to walk/jog/bike within 3-30 minutes going in the East and West Direction:

The Eastern path through the I-90 Tunnel leads directly to the beautiful cities of Mercer Island & Bellevue or take the path to Lake Washington’s gorgeous waterfront to Mount Baker Beach and further down is the Rowing and Sailing Center with boat ramp and sailboat rental. The trail extends six miles ending at Seward Park, a peninsula of original growth forest with its own beach and outdoor summer concerts.

The Western scenic trail leads to the International District (China Town), Downtown Seattle, and Seattle’s Waterfront with one of the biggest Ferris Wheels in the United States

Scenic and interesting are uncommon terms used to describe a trail alongside a busy freeway, but the I-90 Trail in Washington is different. The trail begins in the west in Seattle and runs for 10 miles across Lake Washington and Mercer Island to the Mercer Slough Nature Park in Bellevue.

One block East up the stairs: A delicious French Bistro with a superb Wine List and an Italian Café for dinning or order to go!

Few blocks South around the corner: Bradner Garden Park with winding paths connecting seven ornamental theme gardens including 61 p-patch plots. You will see the 33-foot-tall vintage (1916 to 1933) Aermotor windmill that circulates water from the seasonal pond to the dry streambed next to the children’s play area.

There are many activities within 15 minutes away by bus or walking, Amy Lee Tennis Center, Megar Evans Swimming Pool along with a YMCA Center, varieties of Public Parks, numerous Church denominations, Synagogues and Temples Parks.
