Great location relative to Metro train station (one block). Safe/secure neighborhood....generally quiet after you get used to planes from Reagan Airport and random emergency sirens of the city. Unit was spacious compared to a hotel, but had a rather bizarre layout....excessive closet space, but you couldn't turn around in the smaller bathroom. Virtually no seals on windows or doors. You could hear wind whistling through window/door cracks non-stop. Non-stop is also how electric furnace ran on 60°/45° days in late March. I wouldn't want to stay here if it were any colder. Appliances all worked (except ice-maker). If you love shower water pressure, then you'll love this place - beats any hotel I've ever stayed in. Problem is, drain isnt sized accordingly, so you'll fill the tub ankle deep before you are done. Beds were decent, but not as nice as most hotels. The rest of the furniture is EXACTLY what you see in the pics and it is all way less comfortable than it looks. Frame of one dining room chair was broken. There were two exposed romex wires running along ceiling (one across the hallway) from some afterthought electrical work. Not sure how this could get past a bldg inspector. If most reputable hotel cleanliness is a 4+ or 5, then this was struggling to be a 3. Still not sure what the red/brown substance was on the shower curtains and shower walls, but the fire-hose showerhead wouldn't rinse it away.
