Santa Fe comes to the central coast! The architecture of this memorable home is inspired by the homes of the Southwest, with soaring open beam ceilings, log pine accents, wrought iron detail, and radiant heated Satillo floors set against cool stucco walls.
Bordered on three sides by the Santa Barbara Botanic Gardens, the home's south facing orientation takes full advantage of the magnificent views of the blue coastal waters that surround the Channel Islands in the distance, and sweeps around to highlight the mountain view as well. The surrounding landscape on this unique hilltop acre features drought tolerant botanicals that live happily in this sunny area of Santa Barbara.
Each room boasts all new furnishings, decor and linens to provide a luxurious experience for each and every guest. In Great Room style, the Living Room, Dining Room and Kitchen all take advantage of the views while allowing guests to stay connected.
The large arched picture window in the Living Room frames magnificent views that span over the red tile roofs of the city. Notable landmarks of St. Anthony's Seminary and the signature twin bell towers of the Santa Barbara Mission peek through the lush green canopy below. A fireplace, wood floors, and fine grain leather furniture add to the rich and natural ambiance of the space.
The ocean view deck seems to be suspended above the rich landscape below. At night, there is little light intrusion making star gazing a favorite pastime for night owls. In the daytime, just sitting quietly and watching hawks glide effortlessly overhead offers a tranquil departure from a busy life.
The bright Kitchen is very well equipped with everything the vacationing guest needs to prepare flawless meals. Set under truss beam ceilings, the dining table seats 8. The back deck off the Kitchen offers a quiet place to dine al fresco with striking views of La Cumbre peak in the distance.
The Master Bedroom Suite with open beam ceilings and a fireplace set in stucco offers a balcony with ocean views and a sunny spacious Master Bathroom.
Two Guest Bedrooms mirror each other, featuring queen-size beds, and unique massive log pine supports under tall ceilings. The south facing Bedroom offers sliding doors to the front deck and has expansive ocean views. The north facing Bedroom has sliding doors to the back deck where there are vast views of Mission Canyon and the scenic mountains behind the home.
A private office with plenty of built-in desk space makes it easy for working professionals to stay focused, while enjoying the true ambiance of this home, the serene coastal views.
The Mission Canyon area of Santa Barbara features The Botanic Gardens, as well as vast hiking and biking trails. The Santa Barbara Mission is a favorite of all visitors to Santa Barbara and is just a few minutes from the home. The sights of downtown are just a short 10 minute drive from Channel View.

$2,000 security deposit refundable within 14 days of checkout. Deposit is reduced to $500 with purchase of Damage Waiver.
30+ night stays require extra security deposit, and do not qualify for the damage waiver program.
