Early Check-in/ Late Check-out
Check-in is at 4:00 pm and check-out is no later than 11:00 am. If we can accommodate earlier check-in or check-out times we will do so. Our goal is to provide early check-in options whenever possible. Kindly inform us of your preferred check-in time, and we will make a note of it in your reservation. As your check-in date approaches, please contact us to confirm whether we can accommodate your request. Please be aware an additional fee for an early check-in may apply.
Where is parking permitted?
Parking on the street is allowed on Kiawah Island and Signature Way, but it's essential to remember that community regulations allow only two vehicles per household to be parked there. Visitors should use the garage for parking before considering street parking. Please note that overnight parking is prohibited for commercial vehicles or any vehicles, such as trucks or trailers, that display a company's marketing logo.
Can we have parties?
Guest Count must be accurate contractually. Only registered guests on the reservation are permitted. No unregistered guests or overnight guests are permitted. If guests are found to be hosting a party without the permission of the host, additional cleaning charges will be charged to the guest, and in the unfortunate event of the disruption alerting neighbors, guests will be asked to vacate the property immediately.
Does the house have a BBQ and an outside eating area?
Located outside is a gas BBQ available for your use. There is also an outside eating area available for your use.
Is there a noise ordinance?
Yes, the City of La Quinta has a noise ordinance in effect from 10 pm to 7 am. In addition, all guests must be mindful of the surrounding neighbors as some are permanent residents. The noise level during the day must be kept to a minimum. If you are found to violate the noise ordinance you will receive a warning and your deposit will be forfeited.
Do we allow pets?
We kindly ask our guests not to bring pets to Casa Nueva due to considerations for the allergies of other visitors. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a comfortable environment for all our guests.
When are trash and recycling picked up?
Trash and Recycling collection takes place every Monday. Please ensure all trash is placed inside the bins located on the side of the house.
What is the lowest temperature can we set the thermostat to?
Keep in mind that desert temperatures differ from those in other regions. Setting your thermostat to run automatically at 78 degrees Fahrenheit should be sufficient to cool your property. If needed, you can lower the temperature to a minimum of 74 degrees during the hottest part of the day to enhance cooling. However, setting the temperature below 74 degrees increases the risk of freezing the unit, which could lead to a prolonged period without air conditioning. Please turn the thermostat to 78 degrees during the cooler periods, evening, overnight, and morning.
