Nestled in the picturesque City of Elkton in the Shenandoah Valley, this - 2023 renovated 102 year old home has Five (5) Bedroom and Three (3) Full bathroom with marble and porcelain - homestay offers the perfect getaway. Just 5 miles east and a 10 minute drive from The Farmhouse, you’ll find Skyline Drive, the Appalachian Trail, numerous hiking trailheads. There is
exceptional nighttime stargazing from anywhere in the area.

The Winegard Farmhouse has a spacious Kitchen and Great Room with 11 Foot Ceilings, a huge Bookcase with puzzles, games and on yes, a 65” T.V. Next to this is an office, a full bathroom and Bedroom_3, our downstairs bedroom with a queen bed. Bed. Down the hall from Bedroom_3 are hooks for your outerwear and a full size washer and dryer. There is also a broom closet with an iron, ironing board and other cleaning tools. The basement is locked to guests.


Back to the 11 foot tall foyer are the stairs to 4 more bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. At the top of the landing is a double door to Bathroom_2 and a huge tile shower. Up a few stairs are Bedroom_1 and Bedroom_2 with 10 foot ceilings, king beds, T.V.s and individual heating and cooling units.


Back down the stairs and into the rear hallway is 2 Bedroom en-suite with Bedroom_5’s bunk beds and Bedroom_4’s queen bed.

Public Access to the river via Riverside Park is less than a 5 minute drive to the Shenandoah River, with tubing, kayaking, lounging, and fishing. The house is situated between the Massanutten Resort and the Shenandoah National Park Swift Gap Run Entrance/Blue Ridge Parkway. Within 35 minutes are the beautiful Luray Caverns.
Within 25 minutes are the Dukes and James Madison University and Rocktown or Harrisonburg with many restaurants and breweries.
