This home is located inside a quiet neighborhood of east-enders and yet only 1 MILE (!) from the cruise terminals, the Marina, the UTMB medical center, the Ferry Terminal, the USCG office, the USMC office, and Stewart Beach. Lots of Extras! Level 2 EV Hookup, pool table, pergola, spacious backyard. Welcome!
The Space:
We love this place! You enter this single-story house into an open living room, which is the heart of the home. On one side of the living room is the "game room" that opens out into the backyard pergola, and on the other side is the upgraded kitchen and dining area. Down the hall from the living room are 3 bedrooms (2 King-size beds, 1-Queen). And at the end of the hallway is the upgraded bathroom. Notably, it is the only bathroom in the house, which means we've given it a lot of attention.
The Neighborhood:
We think the East End is a special area on Galveston Island. This home is specifically located in a subdivision called "Lindale Park", and the park is a couple blocks down the road. The Lindale Park subdivision sits between the Ferry Terminal, the Royal Carribean Terminal, the Galveston Marina, the UTMB campus, and the US Coast Guard / Corps of Engineer, which explains why it's a neat place.
Getting Around:
There is driveway parking and parking available on the street. If you are getting on a cruise and looking for a place to leave your vehicle(s), ask us about our 2-car garage. Ride share (Uber/Lyft) is good on the island, with convenient drop-offs at the cruise terminals. That's what we do when we cruise!
