Excellent apartment on the first floor of the house in the countryside, on a farm. The house is located in a beautiful and peaceful valley called Norðurárdalur in Borgarfjörður, 154 km from Keflavík International Airport (1 hour and 55 minutes drive). From the borders of Reykjavík city, the drive is about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The apartment was renovated in 2008. It is 70 square meters of size and is well equipped, i.e. microwave, coffee machine and a washer and free WiFi. Beddings and towels included. There are two rooms and in site the apartment, one bedroom and a living room with a pull-out sofa. Extra mattresses and beddings can be provided.

It has many historical sites and there is a possibility of guided tours around such sites. Birdlife in the area is rich. The nature in the area is spectacular, with its mountains, craters, waterfalls, lakes, valleys and magical lava. Furthermore, it is one of the best areas in Iceland to view Northern Lights, during the fall and wintertime.
