The Kaibab Suite is a unique and inviting one-bedroom, one-bathroom guest suite offering an intimate retreat within the vibrant heart of Phoenix. Distinct from the main house with a locked door, it allows for privacy, though occasional sounds may travel between the spaces. Entry is through a private sidewalk and gate, shared only with the Kaibab Casita, a standalone guest house nestled within the lush backyard. The bedroom is a true sanctuary, featuring solid live edge wood planks adorning the walls, creating a rustic yet contemporary ambiance. A comfortable queen bed promises restful nights, setting you up for your Arizona adventures. The bathroom, boasting incredible shower pressure, is a bright and modern space thanks to a skylight that bathes the area in natural light. A full kitchen equipped with a gas stove allows you to prepare your meals with ease. Additional amenities include a washer and dryer, providing all the comforts of home during your stay. We are pet-friendly and welcome your furry friends to enjoy the suite with you for an additional $80 pet fee due upon check-in. As a delightful bonus, we have Dozer, an 80-year-old desert tortoise who lives on the premises. He's quite friendly and loves romaine lettuce and visits from our guests. This setup provides an exclusive yet connected experience, ideal for unwinding after exploring all that Phoenix has to offer. Guests will have exclusive access to the Kaibab Suite, which is separated from the main house for your privacy. Entry is through a private sidewalk and gate, shared only with the Kaibab Casita in the backyard. Please note that while guests do not have direct control over the thermostat, we ensure the space is comfortably cool during the hot summer months with the A/C running consistently. Additionally, a fan is provided in the bedroom to ensure your utmost comfort. Enjoy the outdoor areas as well: the lush backyard, the saltwater pool, and our food forest with over 30 fruit trees. Do remember to respect our quiet hours in the backyard from 10pm to 8am. And don't forget to say hello to Dozer, our friendly desert tortoise! While the Kaibab Suite is your private sanctuary, the outdoor spaces on the property are shared and are designed to foster a sense of community. As the host, I live in the main section of the home on the property, and you'll likely see me tending to the grounds or enjoying the pool area. I built this space with the intention of encouraging community gathering, meeting new people, and fostering friendships. I'm always available if you need any assistance or have any questions during your stay. At the same time, I respect your privacy and will ensure you feel at home in the suite. In terms of parking, we kindly ask our guests not to park in the driveway. However, there is ample free street parking directly in front of the house. The Kaibab Suite is part of a larger property that includes two separate guest spaces, each with its own private entrance and set of amenities.
