The property layout
First Floor: kitchen with dining table, enclosed porch with bistro table, small living room with love seat and 2 chairs and small bathroom
Second Floor: bathroom and bedroom with interior balcony looking down to the small living room
Third Floor: Bedroom with interior balcony looking down to the small living room and a sitting area.

Herbs and vegetables in the garden, please enjoy.

Our unique house is 100% off-grid, relying only on solar panels for all electrical needs. The panels on the roof generate electricity, and that power is stored in four lithium-ion batteries, which are located in the utility room on the second floor. The house runs completely independently from the powered grid. We have a back-up generator that turns on automatically if the weather has been cloudy and the batteries don’t have enough charge; the house will continue to run as normal. There is a battery monitor on the wall where you can monitor your power usage or watch as the sun charges the batteries at your mountain top oasis. Our system was built to handle the power usage of a normal household with no issues, so you can feel comfortable living as you would in any other home.
