Perfect for our family!

  • 5 of 5
This home exceeded our expectations- it was very clean & neat- it felt like a home. The kitchen was well stocked for any vacation cooking but the best part- at least for us- was that screened in porch facing the Gulf; I had my morning coffee there each day- so relaxing. The beach location is just gorgeous & not too crowded. The owner was nice to work with too. We are already planning on coming back to Whataday in 2014! Can't wait. We would certainly recommend Whataday.

Lives up to name

My husband and I just returned from a weeks stay at WhatADay and it lives up to it's name. The town home was great. The sunsets are amazing and star gazing from upper deck is breath taking at night. We took advantage of the fully equipped kitchen and outside gas grill. We would recommend this property to anyone wanting to escape on the cape. The property management company was friendly and helpful.

The house was great! Just as described, the house was very clean and well kept. Pristine Properties did a great job answering questions and even called us to make sure everything was going well. The house was right on the beach and everyone from 40 to 2 had a great time. The only things I would change would be the master bath door and the water pressure was iffy when both showers were on. If you are looking for an economical, nice place to stay I would recommend this house with no reservations.

Sorry for the delay in sending in a review! 2012 was the second year we stayed at this property and I have nothing but great a recommendation for it. The location, the tranquility, the beautiful view is wonderful and so relaxing. The owers are great to work with and the duplex is super. We are going back this year for the third time and hopefully will make this our annual vacation location.

Whataday Beautiful beach and sunsets.

We stayed at Whataday from 11/10/12-11/17/2012. The house was very clean and we had a great view. My only complaint was that the house was not very well stocked with supplies. These are the items that we needed to purchase, toilet paper, paper towels, salt & pepper, dish soap, dishwasher soap ( we were given a very small packet to start with) sponges, windex, trash bags as well as coffee filters. If I knew we needed these items I would have brought them from home. Overall we had a great time and we will be back. Thanks for a pleasant and relaxing trip.

Owner's Response: Glad your stay was pleasant. We think CSB is a very special place indeed! Sorry their were not more "supplies", but, Pristine Properties leaves enough items for our weekly guests and expects long term guests to bring a few items that they list in the e-mail packet. My wife and I will leave a bunch of stuff when we get down there in Jan and make sure everything is restocked. Because we live in Michigan we rely on Pristine for Cleaning, restocking, etc. Our feedback from guests regarding Pristine is extremely positive!

Thanks again for choosing Whataday.

Super Wonderful Vacation Area

  • 5 of 5
Just returned from a week at Whataday and it was supurb. The property was located right on the beach and was very nice, clean and comfortable. The screened in porch was a definite plus. The water is so clear and beach is crystal clear. This was a low density area which was just what we wanted. The laundry facility is outside on ground level so take a laudry basket with you to make carrying items easier. The large washer and dryer was great since alot of properties have the small units. I had inquired with other rental properties and this management company was the most helpful and informative. Also the owner was so quick to respond to my emails and answer our questions. I would highly recommend this property.

From the Owner

My wife and I spent eight winters on the cape before purchasing our beach home. We were attracted to this area because of it's quality environment, world class beaches, great fishing and boating, and in general, laid back lifestyle. If you like shopping malls, high rises, and congestion, this is not for you. Bring your kayak or boat (or rent one) The new bike path takes you from the beginning of the cape all the way into St. Joseph State Park......a remarkable place to visit.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Panama city or Talahassee at 80 Miles Car: necessary

swimming, dolphin watching, beach fishing, birding, shelling, biking, kayaking, hiking (St. Joseph Peninsula State Park, Troy Deal, Buffer Zone, etc.),Scalloping. Incredible fishing in St. Joe Bay. Boat launch in state park a few minutes away. If you bring a boat, the trip to the 'tip of the cape' is a must. Some of the best Kayaking there is...........marine life abounds. New bike path from Salinas Park to the State Park.

From the Owner

My wife and I have vacationed on the east coast, california and Fla. We have NEVER discovered a location with the benefits of Cape San Blas. The combination of quality natural environment, low population density and mild climate can not be found any place else in The US. Half this peninsula is a state park (has been voted best in the US) with a wilderness area.........abundant wildlife and unique maritime hummocks and pine and oak woods with incredible coastal sand dunes on the gulf side and St. Joe Bay with its unique ecology on the other.......the quaint towns of Port Saint Joe and Appalachicola are a taste of old Florida. If you like a laid back life style, the best beaches on the planet, and a quality environment........the Cape can not be beat.
