Sawmill Creek Condominiums are in the ideal Breckenridge location. They are right next to a shuttle stop that takes you to the Snowflake lift and across the street from one that takes you right to the Gondola. When you are finished, the Four O'Clock ski run (green) takes you home! You can finish your ski day within 20 feet of the elevator.

The unit is one block from historic Main Street dining and shopping. The Breckenridge Recreation complex (with fitness center, water slide, lap pool and racketball courts), full-service grocery store, liquor store, and recreation equipment rentals are all within an easy walk. Copper Mountain and Keystone are each about 15 minutes away; Vail is a little over ½ hour. All are accessible by free shuttle bus.

Our unit was completely remodeled several years ago and the décor reflects its mountain location. It is on the first floor, which allows for a generously sized patio complete with a private propane grill and chairs. You can relax and enjoy the view of the ski mountains peeking through the trees. Kids can walk right off the patio to play in a large yard.

We have a new memory foam king bed in the master and two queens in the guest bedroom. Each bedroom has an attached bath and there is a steam shower in the master. The guest bedroom has a lovely view. In addition, the living room has a queen sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully-equipped so that you can grill on the patio or cook in if you wish. After dinner, you can relax by the gas-log fireplace and watch cable television (HBO and Showtime) or listen to music. There is a washer – dryer inside the unit plus free wireless internet.

The complex has two indoor hot tubs to soothe tired muscles at the end of a fun-filled day. There is an elevator and luggage cart to assist you when you arrive. The exterior of the complex has been updated recently and a lovely babbling stream (Sawmill Creek) runs between the complex's two buildings.

Great Location for BreckenridgeFun!

We had the best spring break vacation at the Sawmill Creek condo. The location is unbeatable as the main gondola for skiing and main street for shopping and eating are only one block away. I was easily able to park my van with a Thule ski box in the front lot; however, we drove very little as everything is within walking distance or a free bus ride. My family of five was very comfortable in the quiet two bedroom unit. We are already discussing plans to come back again next year. The skiing at Breck during spring break is epic and we made great memories with out teenage and young adult kids! Thanks for offering such a great unit!

Awesome Location! Family Friendly!

We just stayed at your condo with our boys (7 and 9). We enjoyed full day adventures of biking, hiking, and the Fun Park at Peak 8. Afternoons and evenings were spent taking in the shops and restaurants. We loved being so close to all of the great things of Breckenridge.
The boys had a great time watching the VHS movies while getting ready for bed (They had no idea how to work the machine or what a tape even was!).
We look forward to a winter adventure in Breckenridge and are already talking about next summer in hopes of returning!

Nice, Clean Condo

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We arrived to a lovely, clean condo with fun moose decor. There were some things in need of repair like a broken bar stool, non-functioning closet door, and falling curtain rod - but nothing too extreme. Strangest thing was the use of the master closet as a storage space. It contained the water heater, 2 fans, 1 humidifier, several buckets of paint and a bed frame. That left little room for clothes to hang. My husband loved the steam shower and the memory foam mattress on the king bed was perfect! Biggest downfalls would be the dim lighting throughout the condo. It was really difficult to see because of lack of good lighting. There were also noisy neighbors above us who got up around 6:30 every morning. Another downside were the various noisy dogs. There was a yappy small dog a few doors down from us, large and small dogs in the unit two floors above us, not to mention seeing (and hearing) them all over the facility and getting into the elevators. We were told that HOA rules forbid pets in the units. Looks like a lot of people disregarded that. Kitchen was well stocked with most of the cooking items that you'd need. There were even handy bags for shopping. There was plenty of parking, but if you have a big vehicle beware that it will be a challenge to maneuver in the small covered parking areas. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would consider it again if we get to return to Breckenridge. (The management company was great to work with!)

Owner's Response: Glad you enjoyed your stay. Although I have never had problems hanging things for a 1-2 week stay in the master closet, I will move a few items to the other closet and donate the bed frame that was leftover from putting in a new bed. Can't do too much about the water heater - that was there when we bought it. As far as the dogs that you saw, the official HOA rules state that owners can bring them, renters cannot. Hopefully those were owners! Thanks for staying.

Minutes on the shuttle to the gondola and ski back. Walk one block to stores and restraunts on main st. Clean comfortable unit. Covered parking. Good choice.

Great get away

We booked a mini family get away and couldn't have been happier. So nice to get away from the Texas heat and soak up some cooler weather. The condo was roomy and comparable in price to a hotel room, but much nicer. Everything was clean and well maintained. We were able to do some hiking and rafting nearby. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay near town. Lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. So glad my daughter introduced us to vrbo. We will definitely use it again.

Good amount of space, rock hard beds

We were pleasantly surprised when we got to the condo to see how big the bedrooms and common spaces were, including the seating in the living room and the nice fireplace. Being able to ski in down the 4 oclock run was cool too, but you do have to walk to the gondola to get up the mountain so it's not really ski out.

My complaints:
1. Rock hard beds and pillows - just buy some new pillows and mattress toppers please!!
2. The paper thin ceilings and people making noise at 6am every day above us

We fell in love with Breckenridge about 18 years ago and lived in Colorado Springs for 10 years. Although we now reside out-of-state, we love to visit. The amazing physical beauty, great skiing, friendly people and wonderful ambiance of the town have made this our second home. Summers have as much appeal to our family as winters because there is so much to do (and we reside in a hot climate!).

We have many favorite shops and restaurants in Breckenridge. Our condo is only one block from Main Street, so everything in town is within an easy (and beautiful) walk! In the winters, we love the ski-in aspect of the condo's location. In the summers, we appreciate the grassy yard and the private grill on our patio.
