Nestled in the private residential area of San Roque in Santa Barbara, this home is a spacious, bright, ranch home with a rear patio overlooking a large creek side yard. Creekside Secret is complimented with a weekly gardener, renovated bathrooms, and hardwood floors throughout the living room and bedrooms. The home features four bedrooms and two baths. The master bedroom has a private bath complete with a large walk-in shower. Three bedrooms have queen size beds and the other has a queen and a twin - note that 1 bedroom is detached and opens up to the backyard with a private entrance. Other amenities include two televisions, a DVD player, cable, wireless high speed internet, microwave, dishwasher, full-size washer/dryer, fireplace, and a nicely equipped kitchen. To make your vacation more enjoyable and virtually hassle free we provide linens and towels. There is also one garage space and two spaces in the driveway.

Great House in a Great Location!

We rented this house as an alternative to a hotel for a wedding. The house was very clean and we were able to fit comfortably (3 couples, 2 toddlers and an infant) without any problems (the extra room was especially nice to keep the napping kids away from the main area). It is centrally located and we were able to spend some time at the beach, at the zoo and downtown for wedding festivities without any problems. There was an uncommon heat wave this weekend, but fans in every room were more than enough to keep the temp down. Tom and Sasha were very easy to work with and we would definitely stay here again. Great house for an AMAZING price!

Beautiful and can be improved

I was there for the 4th of July weekend with my friends. The backyard is huge and beautiful. We totally loved our stay here. I would like to bring my notice to the owner/manager that some changes and improvements are needed for this place like below.
1. Grinder for the kitchen sink
2. lock for the guest bathroom
3. Fans in the bedrooms
4. Cutting board in the kitchen
5. Dishwasher soap/liquid

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback, but we would like to point out that items 4 and 5 were there and always have been. We hope our guests would have called so we could have pointed them out. The cutting board is a piece of countertop that Corian leaves with the installation to be used as a cutting board - I believe that may have been overlooked since it blends in. Also, dish soap is under the sink as is dishwasher detergent. I believe that was overlooked as well.
Regarding Fans, we have fans for all 4 bedrooms and one strong one for the kitchen or living room, whichever guests prefer. So 5 fans total are there effective about 10 days ago when the heatwave arrived. Yes they weren't there during your stay and it's an excellent and reasonable request.
We agree with all of your recommendations.
A lock will be installed as well as your recommendation is well received.

This property was everything it said it was. Great location! Simply put - I would do this again. Sasha and Tom (the contact people) were great! Answered any question I had (renting like this was new to me). House was clean and had everything we needed. \\Very close to everything we wanted to see plus some. SO much better than any hotel we were looking at. I will be back.

Wonderful week in Santa Barbara

This home is a terrific location for exploring Santa Barbara - close enough to State Street to easily find your way around, and yet the neighborhood is quiet and serene. Take a walk around the area - it is lovely. The home itself is very clean. The kitchen is easy to work in and contained everything we needed. We enjoyed the backyard very much.

The only downside is the fourth bedroom. We knew it was separate from the main house, which would have been fine, except that the room is rather dark and somewhat dreary. The lighting is poor, the paneling old, and the furniture spartan.

I would recommend renting this home, but only using the three bedrooms in the main house.

Charming Home in Santa Barbara

The home had alot of charter and charm was clean and made us fill at home. We were in Santa Barbara attending a wedding, the home was perfect for our group of 9 people. It is off the street and private, yet we were still close for shopping. It had everything we needed for our 4 day stay, including beach towels and an ice chest. Would love to come back and visit. Great place for family group

This worked out well for our family that gathered for the funeral of a family member. It's located in a quiet neighborhood that is convenient to just about everything you would want to see and do. We spent a lot of time on the patio that overlooks a creek area. A long driveway leads from the street back to this house and one next to it. There is parking for one car in the garage and two cars in front of the garage. There is plenty of street parking. Suggestions: 1. Include a photo of the dining area off the living room on the website -- I had to ask about it thinking I might need to bring a folding table. 2. Provide more coasters, because that was something specifically requested that be used. 3. Provide more towel racks/hooks in hall bath. 4. Provide a mirror in the smaller bedroom facing the backyard.
