Welcome to the beautiful Villa Malaga, the very essence of Andalusian Spain and Santa Barbara. Imagine stepping into the light filled great room, with its polished Spanish tile floors and white washed stone surfaces. Banks of windows in each room overlook the private courtyard, lawn and rose garden. With the windows open (or standing out on one of your 4 decks) you can hear the wonderful bubbling of the grand fountain, day and night.

This luxurious villa has over 2,000 sq ft of living space with 3 bedrooms, 2 ½ baths with a Queen sized bed in both the Master Suite and the second bedroom, with over-sized bunk bed in the third bedroom. The master bath has a large walk-in shower and an extra deep Jacuzzi tub. There are four levels in the Villa. All bedrooms are on a second level of the house while kitchen and living room are on a third one. All floors are accessible by elevator besides roof deck.

There are three fireplaces, flat screen television, surround sound and internet access. All linens, towels, furniture and artwork are of the highest quality. Villa Malaga is located well off-street and is surrounded by lush landscaping and greenery that obscure other buildings, providing a special sense of privacy and security.

The roof deck, with sweeping views of the American Riviera and glistening Pacific Ocean, provides that extra outdoor living space for fresh-air dining or just relaxing and enjoying the sun and sea breezes. There is an outdoor fireplace on this deck inlaid with a hand painted Spanish mural, a separate fountain and 360 degree views of all that Santa Barbara has to offer.

Villa Malaga is located in Cinque Terre, a stunning building just two blocks from the beach and four blocks from Stearn’s Wharf in the heart of the Water Front District. It is completely gated and has a private garage with a dumb waiter that will whisk your provisions to both the sleeping and living levels.

The gourmet kitchen is fully stocked, featuring custom cabinets, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, 6-burner commercial grade Viking range and an over-sized GE convection/microwave.

Great location and wonderful sun deck on top!

Really clean and they left flowers for us at our arrival. Perfect for 6 to 8 people all in beds. Location is fantastic only two blocks from the train station and harbor. A definite stay!

They thought of everything to make our stay more enjoyable. Beach toys (chairs, boogie board, 3 bikes) were great. The dumbwaiter made things very easy to get luggage and food into condo. You can't beat the view from the rooftop balcony. Tatiana does a great job communicating making sure your stay is nice and relaxing. Can't wait to come back!

Family spot with a 15 minute walk to the wharf and beach

We stayed here over spring break as we needed 3 bedrooms and willingness to accept a medium dog. The location is centrally located for the beach, wharf and downtown in an area with a number of beach hotels, apartments, condos and a few bars and a corner convenience store.

The property is well kept and well appointed, with just about everything working correctly. Our only problems were - (i) no measuring spoons in the kitchen, which was remedied the next morning, (ii) dead batteries in a TV remote control and (iii) a another TV remote that needed to be recharged.

Everything was as advertised - clean and we really enjoyed the circular dining table, the rooftop deck, and the large kitchen. The bathrooms have nice fixtures and are well kept. The garage is gated and easily accessible with remote controls.

My only complaint about the location is that walking to/from State Street was not the best experience - the city needs to make lighting and signage improvements in order to make that area more accessible for people coming from the other side of the freeway.

Birthday Getaway with another couple

We very much enjoyed the unit...everything interior and exterior about the specific unit was well represented. We had no issues with anything. We even had to extend an extra night due to weather delays and it was easy and painless to contact the owner for an extension of an additional night. You should know if renting this unit, that it is walkable to downtown and the ocean/wharf as noted but the walk to downtown was not as 'direct' as one might think initially; we found walking shortcuts through the area to cut down on distance and high traffic corners so be prepared to do same if you will be leveraging walkability. We went with another couple and I do think that if couples are to share this, the owner could do better by improving the size and quality of the second bedroom and by adding a TV to make it more appealing for that second couple....but if a family with children the other rooms are fine. The rooftop patio with gas fireplace was great!

Family Vacation

We stayed here 5 years ago and were very excited to return. The view is spectacular from the roof deck. The home is comfortable and large enough to accommodate all. We were here for a family wedding so it was nice to have a central location for family to visit when we were not involved with wedding activities. The location is perfect- very close to State Street and the water. Can't ask for anything more!

Great Girl Friends Away Weekend!

As advertised, though we thought the bed linens need to be refreshed. The roof top was awesome, and worth the price alone. Location can't be beat. Very hassle free process. Would love to return! We were 5 "sisters" and it suited our needs perfectly. One other minor note: would be helpful for the instructions for locking the french doors to be posted on each door. We had a lot of trouble with them. THANK YOU!
