About the Owner

I purchased 'The Little Red House' from my son and his wife. I had stayed in their home when visiting them in Bozeman for the past 7 years. When they decided to move to a larger home I couldn't think of visiting Bozeman and not being able to stay in this little house.

I am a 64 year old Nana living in Minneapolis, Minnesota who loves to visit her grandchildren. This home is the envy of all my son's and wife's friends, and they wanted to make sure it stayed in the family. You will feel the same when you choose to stay. For a little while it can be yours to love.

The big back yard is perfect for BBQ's and just relaxing after a busy day out of doors.

Excellent Home

  • 5 of 5
We arrived August 1st for a month long stay at the little red cottage which isn't small! The location can't be beat for walking to Main Street or driving out 7th Avenue or 19th Avenue to do shopping.

We especially loved the huge fenced in backyard with the lovely flowers and seating areas. My two small dogs loved running and playing in the yard which has very secure fencing. We cooked out on the grill almost every night.

The kitchen with its great table overlooking the back yard was our favorite place to enjoy our morning coffee and check our emails (great and fast internet connection). The kitchen is well equipped with nice dishes, silverware, cookware and utensils.

We enjoyed the spacious laundry room and bathroom(especially the claw foot tub). The shower is spacious with great hot water and water pressure.

I slept in the downstairs bedroom with very nice mattress and bed linens. My husband took the attic space which also had a nice queen mattress and linens as well as a twin bed and crib in the "L" of the attic. There is A/C in the attic and downstairs bedroom which was greatly appreciated in August.

The television has many cable channels to choose from and there are books and games as well.

We used the little red house as a base for day fishing trips, Yellowstone National Park and zip lining and whitewater rafting at Big Sky.

Kudos to the owner's son, Wyatt, who checked in on us the first day to make sure we had everything we needed. He is also the head fish manager at the co-op on Main Street, the one closest to 7th Ave and can give great advice on the freshest fish in town!

We had a wonderful stay away from the Arizona heat and would highly recommend this lovely cottage for a great stay in Bozeman.

Owner's Response: Thank you for such a delightful review. I also took your advice . . . . Upon your return you will certainly enjoy seeing yourself in the full length mirror and carving your BBQ'd meats with the 3 new, sharp large kitchen knives. Again, many thanks for all and especially the helpful suggestions. Catherine

Warm, cozy home

  • 5 of 5
My husband and I, along with my 21 year old daughter totally loved our week in the winter here. The house is very welcoming, comfortable and clean just like in the photographs. Coffee and breakfast in the sunny kitchen was a sweet and relaxing way to start the day. The location is perfect. The owner, Catherine, was incredibly caring and wonderful to us. Her kindness and lovely energy fills this home. I would highly recommend the little red house, and can't wait until we can come back.

I hope you can find your way back to Bozeman in the near future.

Wonderful House With Such Character Right Downtown!

  • 5 of 5
My family (parents, husband, and 9 month-old baby) and I really enjoyed our recent stay at the Little Red House in Bozeman. The location was perfect, 1.5 blocks from downtown where you can find restaurants, shops, etc. and nearby to family we were visiting. The house has off-street parking and the owner and manager make it super easy to rent and check-in/check out. The house has lots of character and is thoughtfully furnished and well-stocked with essentials (toilet paper, paper towels, dishtowels, dishes, firewood for the fireplace, etc), which is so nice because one doesn't want to spend too much during a short vacation at the grocery store! A pack'n play was provided and set-up for our baby when we arrived and the cleaning crew is doing a great job keeping up the property. I would definitely stay at this house again for future visits to Bozeman.

Great house!

  • 5 of 5
My fiancé and I needed a place to stay in Bozeman over the holidays, so I contacted the owner and am very happy I did so! The house was fantastic and setting everything up was easy with the friendly owner of the property. If you want to be in downtown Bozeman and have your own place to call home then this is the place for you!

Great home base for mountain adventures

  • 5 of 5
This is an excellent home base for outdoor fun in the mountains of SW Montana. Very close to excellent hiking, river rafting, mountain biking and fishing. Our family of 4 spent a week in the little red house in Bozeman and enjoyed it tremendously. The house is very quaint and cozy for 2 adults and 2 teenage boys. The kitchen is modern and has everything you need. It was very hot the week we were in Bozeman, but this house has air conditioners in both bedrooms so the nights were good for sleeping. The home is also just 2 blocks off of Main Street in Bozeman so we were able to walk to dinner every night. We highly recommend this property for a family vacation to SW Montana.

This beautiful house is very comfortable and conveniently located. Each room is completely furnished for your every need. The kitchen is great for meal preparation and has a large eating area that looks out on a pretty fenced garden filled with shrubs and flowers. The lilacs were in bloom for our stay. I would recommend this house for anyone seeking accommodation in Bozeman. We really loved staying here.
