1 bedroom with spa inspired bathroom

Mid-century apartment well preserved with recent renovation. Interior designer and stone mason owners display their talent to include spa inspired bathroom with turkish travertine shower, vanity, and mosaic heated floor. Designer colors and furnishings create a comfortable environment throughout the lovely unit. The bedroom's queen size bed is well appointed with a Sealy Posturepedic Euro Pillow Top mattress, custom upholstered headboard, down comforter, down pillows, high thread count sheets. The living room chaise lounge sofa is perfect for reading or viewing 42'' plasma TV. Small dining room table will also serve nicely as a desk. Kitchen has original red tile with newer appliances and the simple basics for cooking at home. The apartment unit is situated on the back side of a 4 unit apartment building with tall fence to create a courtyard setting and private entrance. Large windows bring in an abundance of light and great view of courtyard garden.

One of the charms of this property is that it is in a quiet neighborhood for a city location. As much as we want our guests to have a good time, please be aware this is not a party pad. The sofa is not intended for additional sleeping guests and additional bedding is not provided.

Central Wallingford location. Close to Stone Way for bus lines to downtown, etc. Stone Way starts at Lake Union and goes north to Greenlake and is quickly becoming a hot new street with new restaurants and shopping. Near Gasworks Park, Burke Gilman Trail, Fremont, The Troll, Woodland Park Zoo, 2 miles to Husky stadium and University of Washington. Business travelers will find this a convenient location to software, internet, and biotech companies located in Fremont and South Lake Union. Also convenient for visitors of the University House retirement community.

About the Owner

My husband grew up visiting his grandmother in this small apartment building. We moved in as newlyweds in 1996 in this one bedroom unit. We called it the ''honeymoon suite''. Over a decade of managing the units as long term rentals, we decided to furnish two units and offer as furnished short term rentals.

Nice and convenient Wallingford apartment; easy parking!

  • 5 of 5
We stayed at Randy's apartment while visiting family in Seattle. Exactly as described, very comfortable and well appointed. Parking most days was on the street right in front of the building, a definite plus in parking-challenged Seattle. Lovely renovated bathroom and shower with excellent water pressure. It was a pleasure, and we'll definitely consider this apartment for future stays.

Nicely Located Seattle Apartment

  • 5 of 5
We enjoyed eight nights at this very nicely appointed garden level apartment in a quiet Seattle neighborhood (Wallingford). The apartment has plenty of room for two and the crowning feature is the bathroom. It has a large shower, but the best feature is the heated floor! The kitchen is very well appointed with all full size appliances and served our needs very well. Although it is on the lower level, it has large windows and does not feel confining. The owner, Randy, was very accommodating and let us preview two other upstairs apartments that he is renovating. We would definitely consider staying during another visit to Seattle.

Great Apartment

  • 5 of 5
This is our second time staying at this lovely apartment. We previously stayed in the 2 bedroom and this time in the 1 bedroom. Both were very comfortable, clean and all of the amenities you need. The owners are great and very accommodating to our needs. We look forward to staying again when we are back in Seattle. This location is in a great neighborhood for walking to several restaurants/bars, coffee shops, and stores.

Review of rental 445980

  • 5 of 5
This was our second time that we stayed in this unit over the past year. The accommodations were as described, neat and clean, and very welcoming. Photos reflected the actual unit. This is our home away from home when we visit our family in Seattle. The location, for us, is extremely convenient to family, public bus transportation and restaurants. The owners have been very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Highly recommend this unit.

We had a great stay! This apartment was clean, and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and close to everything. Wallingford is one of my favorite areas. Just minutes from everything you can possibly want to see Owners were very accomodating, helpful can't say enough kind things. We would stay here again

Home-like Comfort!

  • 5 of 5
We rented the apartment for a week while visiting our daughter in Seattle. We wanted to be in a quiet neighborhood with great access to everything a city offers. This apartment was nearly perfect for that purpose. We expect we will be visiting Seattle a few more times in the next few years, and will try to rent this apartment or one like it for our future stays.
