A 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath Condo with Peak 9 Views

Our building is situated below Peak 9 in the Four Seasons neighborhood of beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado. It's perfectly located because a short (5-10 min) walk will have you on the QuickSilver or Beaver Run Super Chairs, while a couple of minutes in the other direction will land you on Breckenridge's historic Main Street. If that's too much walking, the local (free!) shuttle is directly outside the front door.

Our 2nd Floor, 2-level unit is bright and comfortable, offering views of Peak9 from the living area and from the master loft bedroom. Just open your eyes for the snow report and mountain conditions!

Our condo sleeps 5-7, depending on arrangements. The loft bedroom has a queen bed, the 2nd bedroom has a full bed and a single bed (ideal for a couple and child). The couches in the living area can be pulled into another full-size sleeper if necessary.

We have a great balcony facing south-west for Colorado sunshine and a new gas Weber for grilling.

The 42' LCD TV in the living area is equipped with cable from Comcast as well as NetFlix, Amazon Video and other smart-TV apps.

The kitchen, while not yet updated, is well-appointed and should have everything you need for preparing meals and beverages.

Breck is a beautiful place! This is my second time renting from Jay. He is professional, courteous, easy to contact and plan with. His directions and suggestions are accurate. Stay hydrated - altitute sickness is no joke!! We are in a prime location. My party of four walked every where we needed to go. Dog sledding, sleigh riding and snow mobiling required a short drive - recommended to do all of the above during the winter! The accommodations are more than needed for my party. House is clean, tidy and the loft master bed had a beautiful sky light view of the mountains. I miss the snow already! Highly recommend this home, away from home! Thanks Jay!!

We recently stayed here for a girls ski weekend. The condo was fully equipped, comfortable sleeping arrangements, and an unbeatable location - walking distance to downtown Breckenridge and a convenient free bus shuttle right outside the door. The ownwers were very responsive to questions and friendly. We would highly recommend this wonderful condo and we will definitely be back!

This adorable condo was PERFECT for our family!!!! After a long day of skiing we would come "home" to the condo, make dinner and play board games (provided by the owner) all evening long. Quiet location, easy parking, clean and well stocked kitchen made our stay very comfortable.
The location made our first trip to Breck and memorable one. Close walk to Peak 9 and main street, even after skiing the whole day, my three children (10, 7, 5), did not complain about the walk back. If you don't want to walk, the shuttle has a stop just across the street from the front door. We never had to get in our car once, except to return home. Conoco gas station was a quick 2 min walk away for milk or forgotten items on your home kitchen counter.

Look no further, this is the place you want to stay for your mountain getaway!

We rented from Jay for a 2-night stay. The location was absolutely perfect and the condo fully equipped with everything that you would need. We were able to easily walk to the lifts and to Breckenridge brewery. All of the information Jay provided prior to our stay was accurate and easy to follow. The condo was clean, very comfortable, had nice knives in the kitchen (a rarity in rentals) and very comfortable beds. Would absolutely rent this property again.

From the Owner

We purchased our Breckenridge home away from home in the fall of 2012. As avid snowboarders and long-time admirers of Breck in all seasons, we thought that Miner's Candle was situated perfectly between the mountain and everything that the town had to offer - the perfect short escape from Denver and a respite from I-70's weekend traffic. We've started (slowly but surely) to bring the condo up to date, and we're looking forward to all of the family adventures it will bring us in the years to come. We're also looking forward to sharing our home with others - local, regulars and of course those lucky enough to be experiencing Breckenridge for the first time.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Denver International Airport at 100 Miles Nearest Barpub : Breckenridge Brewery at 0.2 Miles Nearest Train : Denver Union Station at 85 Miles Nearest Motorway : I-70 at 11 Miles Nearest Ski : Peak 9 / Peak 10 / Beaver Run at 0.2 Miles Car: not necessary

Breckenridge is an outdoor enthusiast's paradise. Skiing/snowboarding, fishing, golfing, white-water kayaking, horseback riding, skating, biking and hiking are just a few of the activities that our mountain town has to offer.

And with over 75 restaurants and bars, 160 shops & boutiques, 250 historic designations, a local theater company, an art's district, museums, galleries and concerts at the Riverwalk Center, Breckenridge's cultural offerings are as deep as the 300 inches of annual snowfall and as abundant as Breck's 300 Days of Sunshine!

In short, there's something for everyone in Breckenridge - and it's all just steps away from our perfectly situated condo in the Warrior's Mark area - a 5 minute walk to the Quicksilver lift and a 3 minute walk in the other direction to Main Street.
