Come and experience our Southern Hospitality in this circa 200 year old building located in the very heart of historical Charleston. The suite has been lovingly restored in 2013. The charm of yesteryear remains and we have added all the luxury amenities of modern living. We are immediately across from the Historic Charleston City Market dating back to 1804. Our location is second to none...you can park your car and never get back in it if shopping on King Street, dining in first class restaurants, and discovering Revolutionary and Civil War history is your goal. You are sure to find pleasure in visiting one of America's oldest museums, touring the Charleston Harbor by boat or visiting the famous Ft. Sumter, strolling through the historical neighborhoods and sneaking views of private Charleston courtyard gardens. King Street, known for designer shopping and antiquing and is only one block away. We look forward to your visit!

We are an officially approved vacation rental by the City of Charleston.

We are an adult only rental. No pets. Thank you for understanding.

About the Owner

While visiting the area in 1998 we fell in love with the charm of the historical city and surroundings, the Southern hospitality and relaxed lifestyle and decided to move here and make it home! We love it more each year. We opened One of a Kind the year we moved to Charleston. One of a Kind is a gallery that features art and fine crafts from nationally acclaimed artist as well as art by regional and local artisans. We have decorated the Suite with lovely original art by artisans from this region. The gallery is located on the same street as the Suite, only a few door down. Let's keep it all on the same block! ;)

My husband and I were in Charleston celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary.

Our stay was perfect! We use VRBO regularly and have always been very happy with our choices. We enjoyed everything about the Market Street studio. It is located right where you can literally walk everywhere. It is very clean and had everything we needed. We had the most amazing time exploring downtown Charleston and took a carriage ride as well as a boat to see Fort Sumter. The farmers market on Saturday is an adults candy store! Terri was very helpful with helpful ideas for us while we were planning our trip and checking into the studio was easy with picking up the entrance instructions and parking pass.

Great location

The suite is located right in the heart of historic downtown. We were able to sightsee, shop and go to wonderful restaurants without moving our car from the parking garage. Plus, the location was so convenient, we dropped off packages, rested or freshen up before heading out again. The suite was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a relaxing sister's getaway. I would highly recommend this suite and the owners.

Awesome Charleston location!

This suite far exceeded my expectation. The location was right at the City Market, was spotless clean and provided everything we needed plus. Our hosts thought of everything to make us feel welcome. The décor was right in line with our Charleston setting and just added to the experience. My favorite was the balcony with its water feature where I could sit in the cool breeze after walking my legs off in the historic district.

Our rates are from low season $169 per nt to high season $329 per nt. Deposit required at time of booking to secure dates. Parking is available for a reduced rate of $12 per nt in the secure Cumberland parking garage located one block from suite. We can deduct the parking fee from your $100 security deposit for your convenience. 2.5% for CC handling or ECheck is a free service.

The building has a Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Shop on the ground floor and opens up to a charming courtyard in the back. There is a complimentary trolley that stops immediately in front of our building and takes you anywhere you could want to go downtown. Bike taxis and horse drawn carriages are just outside our building and a popular way of getting around to discover Charleston's historical treasures and landmarks dating back to the 1600s through 1800s.
