Incredible in so many ways!

This house is incredible....the decor, aesthetic, location, atmosphere is all spot on. Even down to the smallest touches, like candles and robes. Even the kitchen is fully stocked with a french press coffee maker!

Walking distance to all things SB has to offer...great restaurants, wine tasting in the funk zone.

I will definitely be returning and quite frankly I wanted to move in permanently!

We loved it so much, we booked the house for a return visit!

I travel to Santa Barbara often and this home has quickly become haven. It is decorated beautifully with a hip cottage feel featuring eclectic features that are unexpected and fun. The sheets and towels are amazing, the kitchen is fully stocked with fun colorful dishware, and the coffee maker is outstanding- state of the art (not to mention critical). All appliances are new, including a full washer/dryer set, the bathroom fully updated and there is a darling private back yard for entertaining featuring a new gas grill. The house is located walking distance to State street restaurants and stores. There is also a large grocery store around the corner. The neighborhood is cute, clean and safe.

I recommend this home the pickiest of traveler. I consider my standards to be high and I felt at home here.

Beautiful Home, Very Close to State Street

This is a truly beautiful little home in a perfect location. There is a great back yard with a comfy seats as well as nice table so you can eat dinner outside. The house is also fully stocked with anything you'd need including a BBQ!! Already planning another trip to SB to stay here!!

Excellent location in Downtown Santa Barbara

This was one of our best vacations ever. The location of this cute bungalow is 3 blocks off of state street. We were able to walk to everything or use the two bikes that came with the rental. The property came with everything you could possibly imagine (washer, dryer, bikes, iron, wireless, outdoor furniture, outdoor dishes, lemon and lime trees, extremely comfortable bedding, central air, toiletries, beach towels, mountain view from the front..etc.) I could go on and on. John was great to work with and the instructions were very clear and informative. I have nothing negative to say. We will definitely be back and will use this rental vs. a hotel each time. Truly an exceptional, beautiful property! It was hard to leave.

Nice, cozy house

We stayed in Santa Barbara for a weekend (Fri and Sat nights). This craftsman home is perfect for 2 couples or a family with 2 children. There are a king and a queen bed, with comfortable pillows and sheets. The house has three TVs: living room and the two bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, the backyard has a large table and BBQ. There is even a new washing machine and dryer. John keeps the house spotless and is willing to help. During our stay, the hair dryer was missing and John came to the rescue. Overall, excellent stay.

Charming House - Perfect Location

This house is so very charming, with many special artistic touches that reveal themselves over time. There is a lot of light, as well as high ceilings, giving a very spacious feel to a fairly compact house. The outside dining table is beautiful and the separate outside sofa and chairs create two additional outdoor rooms. The kitchen is quite roomy and well equipped. The house is perfectly located for walking a few blocks into the heart of Santa Barbara, as well as for accessing the highway. The owner, John, is very available and attentive to communication. I loved staying at this house!

We chose to buy this house due to the architectural qualities and the proximity, short walk, to downtown Santa Barbara. The house was built in 1910 and has unique charm. We have renovated focusing on maintaining the integrity of the period with modern conveniences. My wife, an accomplished artist, has a passion for redoing houses and keeping the charm. She puts thought in every detail from the Donald Kaufman interior paint to the lighting fixtures which in this house many are from Europe and are from the mid-century, all of which are pieces of art. She finds furnishings from around the globe. No detail is too small. Everything is thought out with focus on aesthetics, functionality and comfort. We want your stay to be truly memorable. This is our seventh renovation/redo for our properties, including locations in New Orleans, the north shore of Kauai, the Big Island and Honolulu. We currently own and operate 3 vacation rental properties all listed on vrbo. Visit our other properties at vrbo listings 200590 and 129143. We will soon add properties in Park city, UT and another property in Honolulu. None of our properties are your typical vacation rental. Each has character and style and is more like a home than a rental property. Our artwork includes collectors items from around the US and south Pacific. Much of our furniture in our places is from Paris, New Orleans, south Pacific and more. Come be our guest and enjoy your stay in the beautiful town of Santa Barbara.
