About this property

Beautifully Renovated 1940s Farmhouse- in a pastoral setting

The Georgia Belle Inn was named after my grandmother, Georgia Jones, and was her and my grandfather's home for many years. They raised four children here, one of which was my father! This 1940s farmhouse has since been renovated (in 2012.) There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 bathroom. The bedrooms upstairs are spacious, with hardwood floors and queen beds in each. The bathroom has double sinks and a shower/tub combination. There is one bedroom on the first level...the master bedroom. It is large and open with a flat screen TV, king size bed and a private door to the outside. The bathroom is adjacent to this room, with a washer and dryer. The kitchen is large and perfect for entertaining. The front of the house features a nice front porch with rockers and ceiling fans. To the side and back of the property are great patio areas for outside entertaining. We have WiFi for connections and streaming !

Beautiful Country Home
We had the most peaceful quiet weekend staying here and loved every minute! Home is decorated with lovely antique furniture and yet very up to date appliances and bathrooms. Easy check In and check out was a huge bonus. Plenty of rockers on front porch to enjoy watching traffic go by (not a busy road so still quiet) we also loved watching the cows come out in the morning across the street , and baby calves playing! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Amazing Stay!
Could not have asked for a better home to spend Christmas with our family. The house is beautiful and full of character. Very large rooms and a chef’s dream for a kitchen. Loved the double ovens. Ashley is wonderful to work with and goes over and beyond for her guests. Would highly recommend!

Family brunch before the wedding.
We had the most amazing weekend. I had family coming in from all over the country for my son’s wedding and having a place close to the venue was very important to me. Double ovens were very helpful. The beds were comfortable. And coffee on the front porch while watching the cows in the field across the road was fantastic.

About the host

I grew up on this land, moved away for college at UNC-W, then moved back here with my husband. We raised our family (2 boys and a girl) here and then, unfortunately we lost him to cancer in 2012. His loss makes it even more important to continue to fill the home with love and laughter and provide a place for families to make their own special memories. I am also a full broker and love working with people. I love life, nature, my family and my pets and love to read and cook. I enjoy managing the property and want to expand into other areas such as using the house and grounds for weddings and parties and event planning. 2021 should be an exciting year as I plan to list 2 more family properties on VRBO, one in Greensboro and one at Holden Beach!!

Why they chose this property

This home place has been in my family for generations. My father grew up here and my husband and I started our family here.

What makes this property unique

The property offers a lot of unique spaces for events such as small weddings, reunions, and other events. It is a beautiful and serene setting with a pond out back for fishing and relaxing. There are lots of places to walk and spread out whether it be for a picnic or hanging out by the firepit in the evenings.
