We have lived in San Francisco since 1983 and love its diversity and excitement. I am a local attorney and own my firm. My wife Malu and I love raising our 2 children here in this wonderful city. Malu graduated from one of Switzerland's top hotel management schools where she managed 5 star hotels. We live across the street from this vacation property and love our neighborhood.
“This is a great neighborhood, mostly consisting of families in one and two unit buildings. It is extremely quiet at night, remarkable for being in the center of a vibrant city, where the bars and restaurants are only a 5 minute walk away.”
We are located within 2 minutes of The Presidio National Park, which includes free tennis courts, basketball and picnicking, and the gorgeous Presidio Golf Course (and driving range) a 10 minute walk from the vacation home. We are also a 20 minute walk, or 5 minute car ride from Golden Gate Park, which has the internationally renowned Academy of Sciences and the DeYoung Art Museum, Japanease Tea Garden and Botanical Garden, together with an array of musical concert arenas, sports fields and walking areas. We are a 3 minute walk from San Francisco's 'Little Chinatown' on Clement Street, with its numerous restaurants of every nationality, and eclectic book stores, pastry shops and cafes. We are 2 minutes from the California 1 bus line which is connected to every part of the city by public transit. It is a lovely 25 minute walk down Lake Street to Baker Beach, adjacent to the Golden Gate Bridge, with its view of San Francisco and the Pacific Ocean, and where you can occasionally see whales, seals and dolphins.

“This is a pretty home, with some lovely built ins and details. Constructed in 1908, just a few years after the 1906 earthquake, it sits on what was once sand dunes stretching down to Ocean Beach, 3 miles away. A few hundred feet away is a marker showing the spot in 1776 where the first Spaniards camped when they first came to San Francisco to establish Mission Dolores. In this relatively small city of 700,000 there is a world class ballet, symphony and theater. Exhilarating hiking and biking trails surround the Bay, and there is access to every sport and leisure activity. The highly rated restaurants vie with the lesser known but exciting eateries. We love our city and hope you will too!”
