Nestled at the foot of Breckenridge's majestic Peak 9 and historic Main Street, our second home is affectionately referred to as 'The Moose Condo' due to its family-friendly moose decor. The Moose Condo is conveniently located in the newly refurbished Village at Breckenridge lodge complex, and showcases fabulous views of Maggie Pond, the Blue River, historic Downtown Breckenridge, and of course, the majestic Rocky Mountains.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

When comparing our location to other Ski-in / Ski-out condos in Breckenridge, few offer both the convenience of being close to the ski area and lifts, as well as being a short walk to historic downtown Breckenridge. At the Moose condo, bringing a car is truly optional.

Our premier location is mere steps from Peak 9's Quicksilver Lift, the Breckenridge ski school, incredible restaurants, historic Main Street shops, performing arts center, bike trail (400 miles of paved bike trails!), and nearby municipal ice skating rink.

Please refer to the location graphics in photo section for a better idea of how close the Moose Condo is to both ski area, and Main Street Breckenridge.

If you love our location, but are looking for more space, we also offer a beautifully decorated two-bedroom condo unit at www.vrbo.com\587243. This western themed unit called the 'Lone Star' sleeps 8, and is also in The Village conveniently located close The Moose Condo in the Wetterhorn building.

PARKING ...

If you chose to bring a car, The Moose Condo provided the option to park in our heated, gate controlled garage located at the Parking Level of the complex. Spaces are limited, so it is best to reserve a spot in advance. The cost of parking one vehicle is at an additional cost of $16 per night per car.

CONDO AMENITIES: Your vacation stay in the Moose Condo includes a fully equipped & updated kitchen. 'The Moose Condo' features updates such as remodeled granite and tile bathroom with vessel sink, new appliances and granite kitchen counter tops, a romantic wood-burning fireplace and rustic aspen log furniture.

Our condo includes a comfortable queen pull-out futon with $800 foam mattress in the living room, a custom Aspen log love seat, and King size mattress in Master bedroom. Our one bedroom also has a Aspen log single bunk bead, allowing accommodations for a family or group of 5, with 2 in the King, 2 in the queen futon, and 1 in the single bunk. Also, at 840 square feet, the Moose Condo 1 BDR is large in comparison to other Breck 1 BDR lodging.

VIEW ABOUND! Watch sunrise over the majestic Rocky mountains any window or balcony. View and listen to the comforting sounds of the Maggie Pond spilling into the babbling Blue river from the Master bedroom and condo balcony. Weather permitting, you can fall asleep to the song of the Blue river via an open window or the balcony's sliding door.

A quiet night's rest...Another unique benefit of the Moose Condo, is concrete construction for added noise abatement and a more quiet when you need it most. We have owned and stayed in other condos that are typical wood frame construction, and have had some difficult nights sleeping when condo neighbors took the festivities into the wee hours. The Moose Condo's concrete ceiling and floors provide better than average sound protection.

Guests can catch the Summit Stage Shuttle to all of Summit County, Keystone, Silverthorne outlet stores, & rec center from bus stop just 100 ft. away!

Your rental also includes unlimited access to The Village Health Club, located on property inside The Peak Nine Inn within The Village at Breckenridge lodge complex. Pool hours are 7 AM to 10 PM, and the exercise room room available from 6 AM to 11 AM. The Village Heath Club facility has four (4) outdoor hot tubs for soaking sore muscles from a fantastic day on the mountain. We also have a heated indoor-outdoor pool (our kids love swimming from indoor to outdoor!), aerobic and weight exercise room with treadmill and life-cycle aerobic equipment, large steam room, dry sauna, locker room with showers.

If you need more than our Health Club, the fabulous Breckenridge Recreation Center is just a ten minute drive (or catch free shuttle) where for a small fee, you can enjoy wall climbing, basketball, racquetball, tennis courts, weight rooms, exercise machines, tennis courts, indoor running track, large lap pool for adults and large wading pool for children, etc.

We are a family of four, who fell in love with Breckenridge many years ago. We have owned a second home in 'Breck' since 2001, and at The Village at Breckenridge since 2007. Our primary residence is located near Boulder, Colorado, from where we enjoy travel, skiing and family trips to the mountains. Moose Condo is THE Place!

Couldn't think of a better place to stay. This one was a bucket list adventure bonding and skiing with my 24 and 27 year old boys. If it wasn't for an elevator under repair, I'd give it 5 stars for sure...thankfully I was only on the third floor! lol Just a test for these 60 year old legs - I passed! But as far as location and proximity to the lifts and just a short walk for breakfast into town and shopping - it couldn't have been better - even valet'ed my rental for 4 days in the hotel/condo indoor parking garage. The condo was 1st class - fully eqipped, terrace, fireplace, modern kitchen and bathroom, big screen - everything u can ask for. Very convenient and MORE than fairly priced...btw - the skiing and snowboarding was excellent - went down in a zippered hoodie with sunglasses - last time out was 30 years ago - sweeeet vacation!!!

We had a great time in this condo. It was conveniently located within a short walk to skiing and main street, we never moved our car the whole time we were there. It is very well appointed, with cute decor and everything we needed. I would give it 5 stars except for the broken elevator!

Great time @ Breck

We enjoyed our stay. I would stay at the Moose Condo again. Everything you needed was right there from the ease of getting to the lift, close to restaurants, ski rental, spas, child care, etc. There was five in our party (two adults and three kids) and the unit's size worked for us. Big thanks to Twilla for renting us her wonderful condo. We had a delightful stay. The condo was so very nicely decorated we felt right a home. The wall hangings and stuffed animal moose heads were fun. The welcome goodie bag was a really nice touch. When we wanted some new towels, the management company was very speedy. We've stayed in the Village before so we knew how convenient the area is to the lifts (about 100 yds) and to the main street of town (1/2 a block). The condo was neat and clean and the kitchen had nice glasswear and dishes. We hope to rent this vacation home again.

Breckenridge is an enchanting mountain town oasis that entices you to fall in love. The historic and authentic nature of the town provides a unique addition to the thrill of Breckenridge Ski area. Dale fell in love with Breck long ago, when he worked here in 1982. Twilla came here for the first time in 1996 with Dale, and quickly fell victim to Breck's many charms. We dreamed of owning a second home here, and realized that dream in 2001. We soon after began bringing our children here on family vacations, and the love-story became a family affair. From a less whimsical perspective, the top three reasons we bought the Moose Condo were: location, location, location. A movie quote sums up our Breck story best: “This is my most special place in all the world ... once a place touches you like this, the wind never blows so cold again.'

Breckenridge, Colorado is located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. This historical alpine town is in Summit County and is only 86 miles west of the capital, Denver. Breckenridge is a lovely town with scrumptious restaurants, stunning art galleries, and quaint shops. The majestic Blue River flows parallel to Main Street, creating a lovely setting for a romantic stroll, a family outing, or a friendly get together. There are over 300 days of sunshine every year, so there's plenty of opportunity to enjoy the surroundings.

Very few properties in Breckenridge offer both Mountain, and Main... the 'M&M' benefit! #2: The charming nature of the Moose Condo, in decor and proximity to the Blue River and Maggie Pond. #3: Relative quiet compared to many condo and hotels we've experienced. The concrete construction of walls, ceilings and floors provides better than average insulation from neighboring condo noise. #4 This is our only rental, as well as our second home. Our attention isn't divided among numerous properties as can be the case with multi-condo owners and rental managers. This allows us the opportunity to provide the personalized service you, your family and friends, and your Breckenridge vacation deserve.
