My family and I came from UK, having directing a movie for several months in la, and walked into a house with,
not only everything we needed right there, but stunning decor, a feeling of warmth, light and familiarity, that made us feel as if we belonged. It was home!
The front outside garden, is breathtaking, but secure as front patio is enclosed. We have 2 young children,
who played happily and constantly in it, as well as a lovely backyard and deck.
We had film clients over for BBQ's, and generally made this wonderful place our own very quickly, for those months.
The home is located near absolutely everything, including walking to Whole Foods, or to my favorite restaurant, on Wilshire.
Many, many visits the Beach, the marvelous children's playgrounds and parks nearby, made this an incredible place to work (wifi, internet),
and relax and indulge in the good Santa Monica life, in this spectacular home we found.
So reluctant to leave, but we know where we belong, when we need to return. We miss it!
“The house has every detail designed and decorated to provide a warm and inviting feeling for it's occupants. My Dad was a decorator in NY and I guess I have the 'bug' as I enjoy making a place feel like 'home'. This wonderful house absolutely does! I've kept the original, 1926, wood/wood beam ceiling in LR,wood burning fireplace, as well as the beams in dining room and other rooms original details.”

“I've only had long term renters who were always in entertainment business, and therefore used to having it all-so the house is fully equipped for every need. It's not ever been an income property in the sense that most of them are sparse and casually done. This is a true HOME, wood burning fire place, top of the line appliances and completely enclosed so that children can't wander off. Patios surround it, and the French doors open on to them. Backyard has a fantastic environment to lounge and cook and have guests. A great place to call home and feel as if it genuinely is one!”
